  • When Slade walks in and the music starts up and he goes, 'got room for me up there Charlie' a little bit of me swells up everytime. The right path.

  • WHO IS THIS, MR. SIMS?

THIS....is MR. FRANK SLADE! fucking priceless!!!!!!!!!

  • arguably one of the top 5 single finest bits of acting ever caught on film. al pacino is the greatest actor of our generation........period!

  • Hooo HAAAAA.....A brilliant speech, monumental words...Al Pacino - Priceless!

  • Al pacino for ever

  • Harry, Jimmy, Trent, where ever you are at there,... FUCK YOU TO

  • Charlie is the one that taught the lesson. Integrity.

  • anyone who says that the oscar al pacino won for this movie was a lifetime achievement award needs to have his head examined. Denzel was good as Malcom X but he's got nothing on Lt. Colonel Frank Slade.

  • @bigmoney749 whats your point exactly ? :) It's his only Academy Award for best actor...

  • @Callern I'm saying that this could've been Al Pacino's first movie and he still would've deserved the Oscar he won if that's what you're asking.

  • @Callern Al was denied time and time again..... that is all dude is saying. Al should have won for the Godfather 1 or 2.

  • I suppose the best part is missin...that is when the disciplinary panel excuses Charlie and that trademark whooohhhaaa by Al Pacino is like big cherry on cake..

    apart frm that great video...

  • excellent

  • IMO the greatest actor who's ever lived.

  • Im from South Africa and this movie is inspirational to me to hold my cultural values to even higher esteem. Charlie learned most invaluable education in just two days with no books, no home-works and no fear of failure.

  • Al was certainly a worthy Oscar winner for this portrayal of a blind ex serviceman.

    Great acting

  • The morals, core values, and the emotional fitness that was described and shown in this movie represents what has been lost within our society in the United States. We need to go back to what America once was. Social politics should not dictate people's fate, political correctness should be done away with, and most importantly, best man for the job....regardless of race, gender, skin color, etc. I wish to see an improved better America in this aspect. GREAT MOVIE!

  • perfection

  • Great scene!
