it is completely idiotic to act as if every game doesn't matter. that's why i don't believe a playoff system is necessarily best for college football. we've already seen that teams in professional, and high school apparently, stop caring about the in season games when we do this.

in all honesty, i think the whole idea of hating "not liking" someone based on a "rivalry" predating your existence is being a sheep and is ridiculous. I understand fun competition; but when it gets to be disrespectful it taints the intentional spirit of the sporti n question.

Bu..then again...guys always take this far more seriously than warranted.

i actually have no problem with you. it's not as if we exist in an environment that naturally separates us based on what school we attend. the only trulyexisting separations are among different species and different sexes. in the grand scheme of things, you'll undoubtedly work with people that attended Mainland or any other high school "rivalry" as well as people who attended a college that the one you may attend is considered "rivals" with...
