unfortunately, araneta wasn't filled to capacity when it should have been. only the patron and VIP seats were full. those at the lower box, upper box and bleachers had many vacant seats at the sides. i blame this on poor promotion. only MTV channel was advertising the concert. too bad because DD is a great band that deserves an SRO attendance. i really wish they'd come back to perform again.

spelunkikay, i absolutely agree with you. just few days ago, someone asked me if araneta was full in that one-night DD's concert,i said not quite, and the reason i gave to her was the same reason you had here, poor promotion.

@spelunkikay correct, right after watching Toto's concert (April 3) @ the Araneta Coliseum, as we were walking along the isles we saw a poster of Duran Duran, it was only then that we learned that Duran Duran will be having a concert the following week. Sigh

I miss Araneta Coliseum. WOuld've love watching DD in 12,000 seater venue. I have to be contended with the 2,000 cap of Vector Arena instead.

Was Araneta full when DD performed?
