The answer is rather complicated. The song/dance is supposed to be Tajik, but the song was composed by an Uyghur musician with lyric in Uyghur language. As far as I know, the song/dance is in Tajik style and simply beautiful. The performers should be Chinese students who study in a Pakistan Univ and they are, I think, Muslim Chinese from the west. The music, dance and performers are all linked to Pakistanian Heritage as well.
