  • i bet you jason watched this vid.

  • great introduction - thx bro´for this vid!

    ATB from Austria

    Mike

  • if a machete flies into your leg and or foot it might impede more than your use of the machete, it might impede your ability to walk

  • just wear a pair a leather gloves when gripping it

  • lmao "because if this machete goes flying into your foot or your thigh, it's going to impede the performance of your machete"

yeah.. because impeding machete performance is the most of our concerns if it flies into our foot or thigh.

  • que machete usaste al final del video

  • @americandream82

    Condor 18" outback machete

  • I like the way you use the machete but i dont like that u were cuting trees...that are alive.....

  • @anibal120

Don't worry, all trees cut were selected based on species, health, survival probability (like canopy), and whether or not that area is going to be thinned out or not ( it was). The place where this was filmed is on private property that is maintained for wildlife habitat, and I've personally planted dozens of trees (mostly pig nut hickory) on that hilly side alone.

  • @jeepzillajoe OK i understar a lite be cuz i speak spanish..but thx for respond..

  • @anibal120

  • @jeepzillajoe

Dude, has anyone ever told you you sound exactly like Rick Steves of PBS? (Rick Steves' Europe, et al).

  • Ummmmmmm..... got any tips for machete-wielding serial killers? jk thx 4 the tutorial

  • @venom7526

You mean against them, or for them. If you are a machete wielding serial killer, basically anything that works for zombies, works for humans too. If you have to combat a machete-wielding serial killer, you must make sure to parry, and wait for them to sling a heavy blow, get out of the way,and then follow up. In Latin American countries kids use sticks to start training how to fight with machetes as early as age 5

  • @jeepzillajoe

    Age 5? holy shit O_O

  • If you're a drummer, hold the machete like you would your drumstick. Cuts down from blisters in drumming the same way.

  • @kidnamedchicago

    Neat tip!

  • impede the performance of your machete? having a machete go into your thigh will impede your life

  • @revansthemaster

    it was a joke.

  • im swingin my wallmart machete at my computer and i feel the difference =D

  • I usually just wear smooth leather gloves with the suede-grip palms, it helps you get a good grip on the machete handle without having to use a thick and/or stiff glove which would reduce the feel of the handle in your hand. Bottom line: you keep the sensitivity and control without the blisters.

  • what do you think about colombians machetes? do you ever tried one?

  • @galletinN

Good to go. I've seen a few break (though oddly not any in the US, now that I think about it). Personally I like Imacasa more

  • Very nice video

  • hey, what´s wrong with your page? the server seems to be down...

thanks a lot for sharing all this knowledge with us, who did not grow up with the daily use of machetes ;)

  • love that sound

  • OMG! Jason Is watching! LOL

  • Don't get me wrong...I did like your vid. Having a razor blade attached to me with a lanyard is something I don't do anymore. Seen too many bad endings that would not have happened had the blade been allowed to fly away from the user. That's also the reason to stay well away from others using machetes ,axes, and hatchets. Good usefull info. Thanks

  • lol good one

  • "It's going to impede the performance of your machete" LOL

  • Condor's 15 Bolo machete for the close up

  • Nice Handle, What brand of machete is this?
