Man... I was there last summer. Took the guided tour back behind the falls and then rode the zip-line over. Fun times.

Is this the waterfall that is somewhat adjacent to Progreso, on the Ulua River? I seem to remember a swimming place near Progreso, but it did not seem this impressive. Of course I was about 10 years old in 1944. Que viva Honduras!!

This one's on the Rio Lindo, just outside the village of San Buenaventura near Lago de Yojoa.

When I went there this summer for a service trip, we visited this waterfall. All 23 of our classmates went under it. It was the most intense thing of our lives.

careful....some girl slipped when i was there.....she never came up....she got sucked in and then under the rocks...the current was pulling her back under the rocks and she wasnt strong enough....dead
