A famous youtuber (Chuggaaconroy) used this game's soundtrack as he sped up something, and so I was interested... Damn... this song is epic.

@ACMilanW960i You DO bring up good points, but the reason I think Xenoblade Chronicles is better is because of the amount of content (100+ hours? Sign me up) and all the sidequests you can do, it is just astounding of what you can how much there is to do. The story, graphics, incredible music, and the addictive gameplay is what makes this game an instant classic.

Do you think so? The story is fantastic, the world is gigantic and beautiful and the characters are awesome. And the gameplay is really fun, too.

But I guess it's really difficult to compare these games because they are somewhat different. After all, this is a 3D game.

But maybe you are right, I plan on getting an NES, SNES and N64 this summer and Chrono trigger is probably the first game I'll try to get.

No actually, not completely. I think, a long time ago I saw some of it at a friends house (not sure about that) and I heard much about it.

But I'm 18 and therefore I grew up with the N64 rather than the SNES.

And I wasn't even really into video games when I was little. I didn't own a N64 and only played at other people's.

Yeah, I haven't even really played Ocarina of Time yet.

And as everyone says "Dude, these are the golden games, play em!", I'm gonna play them this summer.

Putting yourself in the shoes of the past really helps you enjoy the games better. If you just blatantly compare the older games to the new ones, you may not like it.
