Why is it that if a police dog gets killed by someone, they are charged with killing a police officer basically giving dogs "human" status....So why is it ok for them to come in and shoot peoples dogs with no reason at all????? Cops are dirty...every one of them. Even the good ones know the ones who are dirty and do nothing, so they are ALL DIRTY.

Has anyone ever heard of fire fighters or Medics shooting dogs when they have to enter a house? I know both those lines of work tend to require smarter people (in average) but they have to enter houses all the time and the house isn't always completely engulfed in flames.

You have to also wonder how far back does this go in the blame chain. Are politician's being paid by defense manufacturers to push their weapons and products onto the police? I'm sure the police is more than happy to accept them at the expense of the taxpayer. The US spends half it's budget on defense and occupies about a hundred countries. Why do we need to occupy germany still? or other countries for that matter.

I saw a documentary about the defense industry. Some of the planes have different parts made in almost every state in america. If congress tries to halt production of that plane, they get resistance from representatives of all states. Its like a giant union that can't be controlled. Where as if they plane was made in Indiana only, the rest of the house and senate would have an easier time voting against just the indiana reps.

I'd like to say that I'm from Columbia, Missouri and we are ENRAGED about what happened to this poor family. My brothers wife know's the family and has met the dogs and said that they are the sweetest. One of the dogs survived although the pit behind the gate in the kitchen died.I've gotten PETA involved and we are actively working to make sure this sickening behavior is ended. I am personally DISGUSTED to say that we rely on these people to 'protect and serve' when they are not capable of it.
