  • Majority of the clownfish sold at pet stores are aquacultured, so relax and research your shit idiot.

  • 5 second memory.... then how do they remember that they have a mate or that they have to care for their spawn? Come on humanity, get educated.

  • Lol. First off,its a nice tank. However, I dont know where people get the idea that most clownfish are not captive bred. I would say that a good 80 plus percent of clownfish are captive bred. I have personal exp. breeding and buying clownfish. Almost every single sold clownfish(minus the black market) are Aquacultured.

  • have you seen the apartment sizes in NYC?....... what would u call that?

  • Difference is these fish are taken out of the wild to live in nano tanks. The people in NY have the ability not to live there if they opt not to.

  • actually 99% of clown fishes that you get from petstores are not wild because they are so easy to breed. Plus fishes have a 5 second memory bank so i dont think they mind as long as they are well fed and taken care of.

  • That's a bit of a sweeping statement, a laughable one at best. Do you have any facts to back up your claims? Claiming that less than 10% of Clownfish are captive bred is an arrogant assumption. Over here in the UK almost all Clownfish are captive bred, largely by a company called TMC.

  • if you believe the 5 second memory bullshit go look up the fish sports trainer thing. finding nemo wasnt 100%true you know...

  • what is your ocellaris clownfish hosting in? are does ocellaris clownfish tank raised or wild cought? which one you prefer tank raised ocellaris clownfish or wild cought?

  • tank raised ones have more color and dont require as much space so i prefer tank rasied but i like true perculas vs false ones.

  • more vibrant color not more color

  • What do you feed your cardinal? I bought one about two weeks ago and it is being a real fussy eater...??

  • *there is no such thing as overstocking, as long as your filtration method can handle the bioload...or in lamin terms: suck it easy!

    p.s. awesome clowns.

  • They really need more place to swim.

    Nice tank.

  • omg, no....your tank is not overstocked,i have more in my tank and it is 12 g of water, it has been running good for a year now, dont listen to them fools they dont know what they are talkin about!

  • your so right...kudos to u...

  • Mikeman410 omg, no....your tank is not overstocked,i have more in my tank and it is 12 g of water, it has been running good for a year now, dont listen to them fools they dont know what they are talkin about!

You can keep a Hippo in a 15 foot cage its whole life but that doesnt mean its happy and its right . If you dove in the ocean which is obvious you have not you would know reef marine fish are teritorial fish and need space not be cramped with other fish.

  • dont have too it looks really healthy

  • lookin good mate ive got a pair of black and white clowns. have a look at my tank and leave a comment

  • 13G is really the absolute, complete minimum for sqeezing in a pair of clowns, with the cardinal in there too it seems overstocked.

But still, nice tank! The aquascaping is very well done!

  • nice tank but u might need a bigger tank for them 2 clowns

  • nice cardinal, i am getting a kauderns on monday
