  • "thanks to exclusive technologies developed by Bose" why don't you give us some specs instead of telling us about "direct reflecting speaker technology" that no one has ever heard of. Oh yeah, because then we will see that your speakers suck and are insanely overpriced.

  • Nails on a chalkboard sound 1000 times better than any Bose product. They have the worst sound quality to price ratio of any speaker or headphone manufacturer in the world.

  • Seeing that most movie theaters sound like absolute crap outside of any DTS/THX Certified cinema (i.e. Imax), I certainly do believe it has cinema sound.

  • PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF!! You are paying for the ADVERTISING! As an engineer I can attest to the "trickery" used in their designs. Cheap paper cone speakers (no domes for tweeters) and small efficient amps. The head units don't offer lossless audio codecs nor do they offer any upconversion that looks reasonable. Please dont spend $4000 when you can purchase a decent Onkyo or Rotel receiver, Pioneer Elite Blu Ray, and B&W speakers for much less that will blow this away!

  • @OrganNLou why would you care what we buy? if we like bose let us buy bose.

  • @MARKUSPOGAR1981 WASTE OF MONEY THAT IS WHY!

  • Was he wearing a really horrible hair piece ?

  • it just is'nt the best speaker mark.... bose pff.

  • Riiiiight... Because 2" drivers can cover the huge frequency band necessary to give you quality audio. Oh wait, simple solution, they just cut out the iffy parts :D And then add a subwoo... eh hem... bass module which follows trend of using drivers that are too small for their given task and isolate the "bassiest" sounds they can get out of them :D AND THEN... Make people who think that audiophile refers to a folder in their Itunes library, spend 4 times more then they should on it! Respect???

  • @KGprince09 Audiophile refers to a folder in their itunes library.lol that was good.

  • Bose is very good at marketing and getting a high Wife Acceptance Factor. Sound quality? Not so much. But sure, if you don't mind huge frequency gaps and prices that are way too high, Bose is just the brand for you to show off with. Untill ofcourse someone who actually has ears listens to your Bose system and tells you how much it sucks.

  • sunset sniper what kind of system you have in your home or studio recording? hahahaha

I think none of the ones you mention, BOSE is very good and elegant, sound quality and discreet, especially the speakers ..... the best

  • @urrack Try Bowers and Wilkins 685B Monitors, wired to a Denon SRA297 running at 0.0dB Pure Direct, with an

Onkyo P-3300 preamplifier for signal. All wiring is either Monster or Audioquest (which we all know is snakeoil but hey, I don't want any weak links in my chain) wired to a Native Instruments Audio 6 running 24 bit/ 192khz resolution.

Bose is shit, and I'd like to see a frequency chart from them.

  • @sunsetsniper if you look around the net, you can find one. i once saw a chart that was supposedly real. and it was TERRIBLE. bad bad frequency responce. i think the cube speakers are 250-17khz +/- 10.5db haha.

  • @cichlidkeeper89 *cringes in pain*

  • @cichlidkeeper89 10.5dB? I've seen the chart but it didn't have any scale on it... If it's really a 10.5dB difference... God save the Queen.

  • @urrack /watch?v=XWF3xLcLz1g That's my system fool.

  • Adaptiq < Audyssey

Most Respected? Umm why is it that recording studios have B&W speakers, Paradigms, JL Audio, but never Bose? Pro's look at Bose and laugh. Like I will now.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

  • @sunsetsniper cause that is what they like, doesnt mean its the best, JL Audio??? ROFL!!!

  • @hijodepuuu JL Audio has turned out some shit yes, but every once in a while they get it right.

  • @sunsetsniper Read reviews on the JL Audio Fathom and Gotham subwoofers. The fact audiophile magazines and dealers that sell audiophile equipment hold them at the same level they do ultra-expensive prestigious brands that make speakers costing $10,000 to $100,000+ really says something, especially considering JL came on the home audio scene as a car audio company, which is something high-end audio buffs scoff at.

  • *cough*frequency chart*cough*

  • any bose is absolutely amasing unless it has a prpblem with it and it needs to be fixed lol

  • Lol at any price? This guy must be on some pretty powerful drugs.

  • dont compare apples from oranges.

  • He should not have said "compare the lifestyle's performance and simplicity to any other home theater system at any price".

  • This system does sound pretty realistic. You do get a good understanding of the different layors of sounds in the movy.
