  • yemen a filthy country full of kidnapping muslim scum.....who backed saddam hussian....during the liberation of kuwait...and yemen has plenty of al qaeda training camps.....bomb this shithole obama.......lol

  • Ure not the bridge you is a bitch

  • @Abualkhatab78 It´s very easy to be a coward towards women. But the terrorists of Al-qaeda are not so brave against USA army. Tell that "bitch" story to the next Hellfire missile that kill Al-qaeda Leaders and brave terrorists that kill civilians.

Bitch are all the all-qaeda "brave" suiciders.

  • why the hell would you wanna mix with Yemeni men .

  • I'd like to be a bridge too.. Can i apply in your Yemen Times? :p

  • You was good about Yemen, but the time you started to talk about the hijab you wrong and was very stupid idea, so you can say that's traditional, and the women from Yemen no one forced them to wear it, that is all, don't make your self you understand every thing.

  • The veil is part of their culture. Whatever your opinion of it you need to accept that a democratic Yemen will not resemble Western democracy. Yemen has its own history, its own culture, its own values and therefore it has its own identity. The only reason America, and other Western countries, are afraid of the veil is because they connect it to oppression, dictatorship, terrorism. Take all that away and Yemen is still a Muslim nation. Islam requires modesty in women, as does Christianity.

  • THIS IS A BETTER EXAMPLE& THE BETTER IS COMING

  • thnx nadia on every all this spoken

  • I think the vale thing should be optional. If u want to west it good for u if u dont, just don't use it

  • i hate when people show vale as an obstacle for women to do there job or drive

arab women myself included love wearing it and i graduated collage and working in a bank by the way wearing my vale

and i'm not taking it off no matter what

if she thinks that her success is based on leaving the vale then she's a stranger to it and to the arabian culture because arabian women who wore the vale know that it's a simple thing

i hate the war on vale but i don't care what they say i'm n luv with u :P

  • Is the yementimes website still up? For many days it has been giving a "temporary out of order" type message along with armiesofliberation website (anti-Yemen gov corruption site). These English language websites will have been hacked by the US government in order to black out news about Yemen as the country is now definately in a civil war and there is no oil in Yemen to support US intervention even no verbal intervention! Hypocrisy at its purest. Down with the dictator Saleh!

  • i want to add also about Yemen third war has started since decades it is the media (third war is Media) by the way Yemen rich with culture and traditions but there is not such Algaedah in Yemen its war against Yemeni ppl

i wish the truth has tongue !!!!!!

  • shame on u

  • Lol @ yemen >.> there is no fukn hope for that nation, its corrupted to its peak limit.

  • Nadia, you rule.

  • i see the this yemeni shit be admired every time she attake her traditions and relegion ( لن ترضى عنك اليهود ولا النصارى )

  • what is so stupid about some comment's here is the ones that confuse defending basic human's rights with feminism. this is not women's vs men's and if you weren't so stuck up your one asses you could clearly see that

  • Am I the only one who read "Nadia Al-Sakkaf Sees semen through her eyes' ?

God i got such a dirty mind.

  • thanks for promoting anti islamic sentiment in yemen nadia your hindi education is very influencing i see that you went to the same school as zarkozi pm of france you are a disgrace to educated yemeni women who hold their tradional and honorable values to a high level. i heard that your paper is in shambles READ YEMEN POST a more broader and more factual newspaper.

  • @Mr1YEMEN1

Sometimes you need a third eyes perspective to tackle issues which locals are blinded by. I am not an expert in Yemen's politics.. but I can understand the fact that sometimes one needs to gain an understanding into things which are not obviously understood ....

  • Get this off TED.

  • WONDERFUL! You are hugely inspiring! Nadia, you're beautiful! <3

  • Good on ya Nadia! I'm not really sure why but I found myself hoping that you would remove your shawl from your head. Not really important but I guess it represented the old way you were talking about to me. Anyway, I wish you and your people all the best!

  • sooooooo, who 'dis'liked this video?!? did they actually watch it?!

  • She's sexist against men and chauvinistic

  • She didn't mention the Khat epidemic in Yemen.

  • @DBTdad - - - You forgot to mention the meth, crack and heroin epidemic in the US of A. Also you forgot to mention that the US is supporting the dictatorship in Yemen.

  • Almost all Arab women are like that, but unfortunately most forign world don't know that. They just go out judging without having an idea.

  • BUt Yemen still allows girls of 9 to be married to 40 year old men and consumate the marriage. Show us all the cartoons, art and first aid courses you like...doesn't change to rot. You may put fresh paint on the door, but there's still a smell in the cellar.

  • i do not respect that freak imitation to the secular west role model! and of course i am against the anti islam SOCIALIST ALI ABD ALLAH SAL7 the spy

  • I live in Belgium, a lot of Muslims come here from the Middle East to live. When I go to the laundromat, sometimes I see a Muslim couple come in: the wife carries in the laundry and does all the work while the guy just stands there doing nothing.

  • Soon, we will start dropping bombs wholesale on your country and you will be free to wear short, tight red dresses when you do interviews. Men will want you and women will want to be you. You will have money and power. You can take a different man every night! You will be free!!!

  • @plaubel28 are you okay? :(

  • @hypedpotential He was speaking tongue-in-cheek.

  • The audience response @5:19 is disgusting. Flat out nauseating. So is the smug way she speaks about firing so many employees.

So is feminism in general, really.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again here. If a man acted in this fashion, he would be publicly castigated for it. When a woman does it, she receives applause.

Well. I am calling for men all over the world to start booing these comments, screaming "misandrist!" at the top of your lungs, whenever you hear them.

  • Without men and women speaking out, these feminist fools are going to keep thinking they can do these things with impunity.

Your vagina does not give you any special rights.

You are not better than men

You are equivalent in importance, and equal in standing.

Anyone who behaves differently is an asshole, regardless of gender.

So fuck you Nadia. Stop acting like such an asshole, and get over your self.

Those men you fired need to eat, more than you need to feel like a big shot.

    Ben

  • Everyone who's making fun of her for the way she's dressed: She's a speaker at TED, you're not. Clearly covering her hair has not been a barrier to a successful career. The scarf hasn't interfered with her brain, though it seems to have interfered with yours.

  • @MrsShirotora Although it might be true it hasn't interfered with her brain, it is still a clear symbol of the oppression of women in islamic societies. There is no excuse for the head-scarf.

  • @jASTDK And I feel oppressed by bras. I'm expected to wear it everywhere except my house, even on the beach! Men can go topless on the beach. This is clearly a symbol of the oppression of women in western societies. People, it's just clothing. Cloth does not oppression make if the mind can be free. Educate women, and let us dress how we chose, even if means we want to be covered up. Force by threat and force by social expectation are different propositions.

  • @MrsShirotora I don't disagree... I would love to see more topless women on the beach... But you see - eventhough I understand your comment is ironic, there is a difference between "not being allowed to show your face and features" via a head-scarf, and choosing not to show your tits because it's not for everybody to see... There is a difference between choice and oppression. On the beach in europe you will not be arrested and mistreated for not wearing a bra.. not the same in the middle-east

  • @jASTDK But her face is visible. Surely you are not ignorant that there are laws against women being topless in public in America. We wear shirts because on the one hand, it's not for everyone to see, and on the other, we are legally forced. Social expectation is "force" just as law is. Ask people who dress that way how they feel about it before projecting the values of our culture onto them. Some will feel oppressed, maybe violently so, but I would bet most do not.

  • @MrsShirotora I guess they don't have any radical feminist nudist colonies?

  • 2 fulltime workers cant be good parents anymore....

  • Is she cold, what's that around her head?

  • @RedOrangeSystem Lame joke is lame. Try harder please.

  • So err, I have to say... She fired men, simply because they were men... and then she's all like "women be oppressed Q_Q"... fuck off.

  • @FmMan33 No, she had to fire "half the men" because they had a problem with her leadership of the newspaper.

  • @FmMan33 No she fired the older men who are stuck in the ways of the past....she hired younger men to take their place along with women

  • A big shout out to Nadia Al-Sakkaf. Lots of respect!

  • saying that the Yemeni revolution was started by women is as ludicrous as saying that it was started by men.

I hate it when feminists think it's ok to be gender biased just because they are/were oppressed.

  • Thanks, Nadia Al-Sakkaf. I know a little more, I fear a little less.

  • Tell someone who give`s a fuck- I don`t care about muslim filth, wish you shit rubbish ppl didn`t infect my country...............................

  • @jjmm112 "wish you shit rubbish ppl didn`t infect my country"

"wish you shit rubbish ppl didn`t infect"

    "you shit rubbish ppl"

    "shit rubbish ppl"

    "shit rubbish"

    wait, what?

  • Who thought it said "semen through my eyes" ?

  • Men are not "people" to her. This is the result of constantly being told women are inferior. She has ingested the oppressor and when she got power, she acted on her sexism, not striving for a "good" newspaper, but one with more women, which has nothing to do with "good" any more than more men make a better paper.

  • Nadia Al-Sakkaf: See Semen through my eyes

  • This was a good Ted talk I mean I get what some people are saying about how if they want to move forward they need to lay back on strictness of Islam, but thats not what made me so happy with this ted talk it was how she was so authoritative and kind you could tell she truly meant what she was saying

  • "A lot of people have walked over me." hahahaha

  • Great Great Great Ms. Nadia , I am so proud to see a Yemeni Standing and Talking through Ted Global . May Allah Bless You:)

  • break dancing? um ok.

  • Every one of these 'modern' speakers are the same.. try to have it both ways. She's really trying to say that islam has all of these stupid rules and represses women etc etc, and we don't want to abide by it, but we still want islam. WTF? Be honest and admit what it is - a backwards ideology and very outdated set of living rules.

  • Islam = fail

  • i read "See Semen through my eyes" and was like...wait, what?

  • Its outrageous that women get killed in muslim countries only because they want to get educated. Ive heard about girls being stoned because they attend library courses. It is inhumane and needs to stop.

  • @florencelovme I dont like muslims, But it is the stupidest thing Ive heard, its not like that even in taliban, 70 percent of iran students are girls for example, WTF?

  • i'm so happy i'm not born in a country where wearing a headscarf instead of a veil is almost a rebellous thing to do.

  • Yemen: More Math & Science, less Allah

Muslims are slaves who support slavery and always "victims".

  • Bet TED is associated with Tavistock, all this PC crap is intended for the silent majority and next time the bombs fall they will yawn again and think "It might be best for them, so they will join our wonderful - corrupt - concept of democracy and - professional - indoctrination". YaddaYadda, pray to Allah that people grasp what is going on before it's too late.

  • Their women is learning ... and they all got "burkas". :) Maybe it's a tiny step forward at least.

  • somebody please kill it with fire

  • It's women like these that changes the world for the better :)

  • This is propaganda by TED .. wow... never seen TED's bias before!

  • What is this video about? On the surface it's womens right in the Yemen, but it's unsettling to not hear who the aggressor is, there's a sub text here that sounds like western propaganda. The timing is not right for her not to mention the Al-CIA-da WAR.

  • are you a muslim or not, mrs?

  • Semen through my eyes.

  • yes! more arab revolutionaries!

  • Excellent! She sounds like such an inspiring individual. Thank you for portraying a relatively holistic image of Yemen and sharing that with us.

  • im very happy for her but those countries are just fucked up all of those muslim /arab countries are one of the last that havent gave up on dectatorship and hardcore religion views wich is a deadly combination to the whole world i think that religion should be banned from being a leading concept in a countries' way to judge or what ever thats the only way to go on to the future without killing the rest of the world and thats also when they will stop getting asked about terrorists...

  • My dream job is to write for her

  • I am surprized that a woman handles a newspapers in a male-chauvinist society, protesting against the governemt and she is alive!

    So brave!

  • What the heck is all the complaining about? This was an interesting talk and a positive one for women in Yemen. So she's wearing a headscarf. And? She's clearly an outspoken, proud, woman and her publication reaches people all over Yemen--that's a good thing and given the oppression of women in Islam, it's an amazing thing. Islam must modernize, but it isn't going to happen overnight. Why belittle this woman for her efforts?

  • @PlasteredDragon islam cannot modernize. islam anchors itself in the 6th century ad by espousing the views of a book that claims to be literally inerrent and the verbatim word of an omniscient deity.

islam can only be reformed if there is a deletion of the sunnah and muslims admit the qur'an is flawed and error-ridden.

  • @volound Similar things could have been said of Christianity during the Spanish Inquisition or the Crusades or the trial of Galileo, or, or, or... Of course Islam will modernize. All religions that have survived history have done so by changing as needed. Islam will change to survive, but it will take a very long time for that to happen. People like this woman are key to that change. That change can't happen quickly enough of course, so the resulting frustration is understandable.

  • @PlasteredDragon no it simply can not as the bible does not self-proclaim its own inerrency. all we have with the bible (allegedly) are translations of translations of copies of translations from anonymous authors who were divinely "inspired", centuries apart and arbitrarily compiled.

the qur'an could not (allegedly) be any more different. no similar things could be said of christianity at any time.

  • @volound I respect your opinion, and in good humor let me say that I'll see your pessimism and raise you hope. Muslims are already trying to change their religion. Regardless of whatever dogmas Islam holds dear, it will change or it will perish. Why do you think many latter day Muslims are so eager to point out where verses in the Qur'an can be vaguely interpreted as being in agreement with modern science? It's because they recognize the value of modern science. That's modernization in action.

  • @PlasteredDragon *headdesk*

you are moving all over the place. first of all, do you concede that you were wrong to say islam is similar to christianity?

secondly, "latter day muslims" ..... ??????

thirdly, science takes backseat to the qur'an. the qur'an takes precedence over science. the muslim equivalent to a "garden of even christian fundamentalist" is a mainstream, orthodox muslim.

its not pessimism. its realism, evidence-based and grounded statement of the facts.

    no "opinion" involved.

  • @volound fair warning--if you are going to talk down to me this conversation is over. 1. I've made no concessions, Xtians who claim their bible is inerrant are a dime a dozen regardless of the actual history of the bible. 2. By "latter day" I mean "present day". 3. YouTube is peppered with videos where Muslims claim modern science is in agreement with the Qur'an. If they didn't care about modern science they wouldn't bother. 4. "People can't change because their religion says X" = pessimism.

  • @PlasteredDragon "if you are going to talk down to me this conversation is over. "

    i couldnt give a fuck.

"1. I've made no concessions, Xtians who claim their bible is inerrant are a dime a dozen regardless of the actual history of the bible."

its not an orthodox belief. even in america. so youre completely, fractally wrong.

"2. By "latter day" I mean "present day"."

meaning, what? muslims today are no different from muslims 1000 years ago.

  • @PlasteredDragon "3. YouTube is peppered with videos where Muslims claim modern science is in agreement with the Qur'an."

no shit. you think i havent watched them all?

"If they didn't care about modern science they wouldn't bother."

they dont care about science. science says theres probably no god and that humans were not created in a garden ex nihilo.

"4. "People can't change because their religion says X" = pessimism."

i would obviously dispute that, ive already said its not pessimism.

  • @volound if Muslims couldn't perceive the obvious benefits of modern science, they wouldn't bother trying to show how the Qur'an agrees with modern science. That's a group of people trying to prop up their religion as it becomes less relevant. Your assertion that it can't change because it claims inerrancy flies in the face of a human history replete with dead beliefs. Dogmas change or they die. The heart of your position appears to be people can't change and that is demonstrably untrue.

  • @PlasteredDragon "if Muslims couldn't perceive the obvious benefits of modern science, they wouldn't bother trying to show how the Qur'an agrees with modern science."

youre going in circles to avoid addressing my actual arguments and rebuttals.

muslims believe that the most scientifically accurate book on earth is the QUR'AN. its the most accurate because it allegedly contains NO errors. if scientists say evolution is true and they think the qur'an disagrees, they THROW OUT the actual science.

  • @PlasteredDragon "Your assertion that it can't change because it claims inerrancy flies in the face of a human history replete with dead beliefs."

no it doesnt. this is not difficult to understand. you cant be this stupid, so i must assume youre just being disingenuous.

no other religion is based on scripture that self-proclaims its own inerrency. and even if they were, and they died, that still wouldnt contradict my argument as thats exactly what i EXPECT to happen to islam.

  • @volound I'm neither stupid nor disingenuous, this is a false dichotomy, there are several other possibilities, such as for example, I'm mistaken, or as another example: you're mistaken. There are a number of theological arguments for Biblical inerrancy based on the text of the bible itself. Take 10 seconds on Google to find one. Similar arguments exist for other religions. When the time comes, those verses will be reinterpreted and the meaning will change or the religions will die.

  • @PlasteredDragon "The heart of your position appears to be people can't change and that is demonstrably untrue."

    oh for fucks sake.

no argument ive made even remotely resembles that tripe. i honestly dont know from which orifice this shit could possibly ever be pulled. i know at least TEN ex-muslims IRL. then theres all the ex-muslims i know on youtube as well. youre spouting tripe.

  • @volound I know ex-Muslims too, that was kind of my point, you might have seen that if you could put aside all this animosity that you seem unable to separate from a friendly disagreement. Your argument that Islam cannot change because it claims to be inerrant ignores the all-to-human penchant for rationalization. When Islam begins to die, it will change. Inerrancy will go out the window, rapidly. People will say "oh it never really said that, that was just a misinterpretation." Etc.

  • @PlasteredDragon you are conflating the immutable (demonstrably) fundamental beliefs of a religion with the mutable beliefs of its ex-adherents. how can you not see the problem with that? do you understand the difference between "religion" and "people"?

"all this animosity" was justified. hopefully you realize that now.

fuck help us if i need to explain this further.

  • @volound the written scriptures of religions are often reinterpreted by their adherents in order to keep their religions alive and relevant. There's nothing ridiculous about that assertion as it is demonstrably true for all religions including Islam, as I have already pointed out. Your animosity was certainly not justified. All I did was hold a position you don't and you start trotting off words like "disingenuous" and "stupid". Since you have chosen to act like an asshole, we're done here.

  • @PlasteredDragon once again, youre dodging, everything.

"the written scriptures of religions are often reinterpreted by their adherents in order to keep their religions alive and relevant."

where possible. where it isnt possible, it isnt.

"There's nothing ridiculous about that assertion as it is demonstrably true for all religions including Islam"

demonstrate that its true for islam (you cant).

find a sect of islam that does not believe the qur'an is co-eternal with god. (you cant).

  • @volound science is silent on many matters, don't put words into its mouth. Since is silent on the matter of what exists beyond this universe. So many people take it easy and say there is nothing. That does not mean that this is supported by science.

  • @MatrixOfDynamism science is silent on pseudo-science and non-science and anti-science. i.e. god, sky-daddys, imaginary friends, genies. the proposition of god is equally vindicated by science, as the proposition of the flying spaghetti monster, or the fairies in my anus.

    do you disagree?

  • @volound you are mixing different things here that all have only 1 thing in common. They are/can not been seen. The reason for their being/not being is completely independant of each other. Why God should or should not be there has absolutely nothing to do with fairies or the existance of a flying spagheti monster. If you are not one of those dogmatic blind followers of your belief than I invite you to watch any video of Hamza Andreas Tzortizis on Athiesm.

  • @MatrixOfDynamism "Why God should or should not be there has absolutely nothing to do with fairies or the existance of a flying spagheti monster."

i completely agree but at no point did i ever insinuate anything remotely like that. is this a red herring? why can you not answer my question? do you disagree or not?

and ive already watched a shit ton of hamzas videos.

did you see him getting tore to shreds by aronra, dprjones, almightyatheismo on the magic sandwich show? of course you didnt.

  • @PlasteredDragon Christianity did not modernize, at all. It was dragged kicking & screaming into the modern ages by secular forces, who demanded uncompromisingly that it changed its ways. Suffice to say that this feat was not accomplished by showing any "sensitivity" for Christian feelings. To put it mildly.

Likewise, our solidarity in this matter should go to secular Arabs and ex-Muslims who seek a better future for the Arab world. The headscarf remains a symbol of unequality and oppression.

  • @GluttonForSex I find your perspective overly simplified. Further I don't think I'm talking about "showing sensitivity" for anything. I believe what I said was that this woman is doing a good thing that will help modernize her culture and I don't see any reason to belittle her. Perhaps you would prefer that she burn her headscarf, renounce Islam, and become an apostate. Personally I think a positive step should be lauded instead of belittled. How else do you encourage a second step? Or a 3rd?

  • @PlasteredDragon Quite ironic. Your view consistently fails to take into account the experience secularism has with the religious mindset. This was painfully illustrated when you proclaimed Christianity to have "modernized" when when attempts are repeatedly being made to introduce Intelligent Design into the classroom.

I very much doubt that vocal support for secular Arabs, rather than modern Muslims, will ever lead to these types of black & white situations you are painting.

  • @GluttonForSex I'm very cognizant of the push back against secularism from Christianity. I am, after all, a secular humanist. But you are comparing "trying to get intelligent design into the classroom" with the Spanish Inquisition. Christianity has a long way to go, but it's laughable to insinuate that it has not modernized. Islam has an even longer way to go--but it will get there too. What's clear is that nobody is going to make it happen overnight, and it will happen from within.

  • @PlasteredDragon No matter how many times it is stated, religions must be abolished for humans to reach new heights in all fields.

  • @Kryptsanies the suppression of religion is not going to win converts, merely revolt. If you want people to abandon religion, you must offer them something *they* think is better. I think ultimately science will achieve what religionists currently look to their religions for, and when that happens religions will die naturally.

  • @PlasteredDragon That seems rather dramatized. The problem involved is that organized religion -and the Abrahamic religions in particular- have theocracy as a long-term objective. Hence the importance of keeping these religions out of the public sphere and confined to private life. Symbols as the headscarf aim to move in the opposite direction, and this is no coincidence.

Change will indeed happen from within. But it are secular Arabs who spearhead this movement, and not moderate Muslims.

  • @PlasteredDragon You mean like the Catholic church stopped believing in miracles? Oh wait, they didn't. You sir, are an optimist.

  • @595o No I mean like the Catholic church stopped burning people alive as witches, torturing people en masse in the inquisition, sending children off to war for crusades. Need I go on? The point was not that Christianity is wonderful and utterly modern in every respect--I never said that. The point is that Christianity became more modern and continues to change. Anyway, thanks for calling me an optimist, there are far worse things to be.

  • @PlasteredDragon Was it really the church itself or was it the surroundings that changed? When the Catholic church stopped being the only cohesive element in Europe and rulers would stop always abiding by it then it certainly couldn't start things like the crusades.

I believe it's the changed political circumstances that explain why Martin Luther was not burned like the Jan Hus 100 years earlier, former was support from political forces that stopped giving a damn about the holy see.

  • Learning their "rights"? Well I guess if they are educated on how they will be systematically oppressed and controlled by law (religious and, the bearably discernible national) then that will save law enforcement and their owners, I mean husbands, time.

  • I thought it said "See Semen through my eyes" lol

  • @SynysterCondom hahaha so did I. glad im not the only sick fuck on the internets.

  • Interesting analysis of a country not often talked about. A great speech by a brave woman.

Luckily she had a headscarf. She would have been too hot without it. I was barely able to retain my semen through the grace of Allah.

  • It is kind of sad if you think that it is 2011.. And that prejudice exists to such an extent. In fact, it is pitiful in the first place to presume the fact that people need lots of time in order to come to the realization that certain practices are illogical. On another note, I am still considering the possible reasons that individuals would dislike this video. Maybe they thought it could have been done better? Sad to say, there is a gut feeling that isn't the case. Good Speech.

  • JEANS y wld she say jeans WTF ???

  • She mentioned somewhere that Yemen will not undergo civil war, but what's actually happening is that some regions in Yemen are singing secession.

@WoundedEgo much of applied ideological diversity exist in Yemen (actually more than all other Gulf countries), including secularists, socialists, and Islamists of different views (Shia, Sunni, Sufism). The current regime is of secular directions, but is soaked in corruption. So, I believe, what will determine Yemen's future is who rules next.

  • I thought the title said see semen through my eyes.

  • Hip-hop in Yemen. =)

  • i thank her for respecting my uncontrollable lust.

  • @310sucks I thumbs you up but we have a law in California that ensures the rights for women to wear pants. That's right, this country not too long ago did look kindly upon women who wore pants. Fucking crazy right? How sad is it that we need a law on the books to protect this right.

Women didn't gain the right to vote in many places like Switzerland until 1971! The entire planet oppresses women not just Islam.

But yeah, their custom is a real slap in the face to men. People are ridiculous.

  • It's HER religion if it isn't YOURS why do you care and comment? Get a life.

  • @iv1764 because religion is that thing that makes people kill each and do bullshit "for the sake of god" that doesnt fucking exist 100% sure that there is no god the way he is described in any religion book

  • "How can you talk to people with your face cover" Well.. that's apply not only for a Journalist you know ?

  • proud of you Nadia,,

  • @MichaeldbLinton

hey baby... BLA BLA BLA ...

if you wanna see whether yemenes are men or not

come with your gay soldiers to yemen then we'll show how we do it .. you little dirty coward

  • @mosu911

You're not in any way implying that if Hell broke loose between the USA and Yemen, you'd stand a chance, right?

    Because... AHAHAHAH!

  • For some of us, myself included, Islam is so rigid and intractable that any hope that real free thinking can occur without an utter repudiation of its claims seems naive. I mean, are you of the opinion that your lifestyle of free thought, assertiveness etc, is compatible with the backward, misogynist rantings of Islam? The reason that most of us are not optimistic about Yemen is not because we see a snapshot of Yemen that we don't like, but because Islam has such a death grip on people.

  • i swear to god i though the title said "see semen through my eyes"

  • @xtreme0ninja It was merely what you wanted to see........ An unconscious projection.

  • @jonahfox no, actually. it was a joke.

  • @GetMeThere Why agonize about it? It's not a veil. Would you be so concerned if she were a Catholic nun? Or just liked wearing head scarves?
