I have this same camera..are there any video editing softwares available that supports .mov input? coz I cant edit mine using pinnacle or wmm..I dont want to convert it because it will lower the quality :(
I would recommend that you use a converter that allows you to convert the video to full frames without compression - it does make very large (+gB sized) files but will work without lack of quality - have a look for a program called RAD video tools - this may help you.
I would say unless you really need that extra resolution you may be as well going for this one, 720 pixels wide is really a lot of resolution already.

like how? All of the movie files save as .mov so editing isn't a problem at all. But as a webcam I'm not sure...

Yes - there is a standard tripod/baseplate screw fitting in the bottom of the camera
