@ThomazInc yes, there were some server mergers, but the remaining servers are still quite populated...they've recently released a rvr pack which increased max renown rank to 100 and I believe they're now working on a new scenario...
@ThomazInc ah, don't know exactly...I quit some time ago :D But I still visit my old guild's website and I know they're having fun...you basically have to buy the game itself (+- 10 EUR), then you have to pay monthly fee (+- 12EUR per month) and when you get to some higher lvl, you should buy that rvr pack (+-10 USD). But if you haven't done so already, surely try the free endless trial first! You are limited to rank 10, but there are lots of people and good pvp in T1...

Because I'm sick of wow because the way it has evolved...there is no good pvp(battlegrounds r horrible because u feel as if everyone is an idiot, and there is no world pvp...and arenas are fun at first but it all becomes very repetitive(coming from a Mage that went to 2300 rating before I quit a month after cata)) And I don't want to end up playing this unless its pvp is superior to wow's ...thanks
@ayato5200 WoW has a lot more people, but in truth, WoW has nothing on WARs combat. You can always try the Unlimitied Free Trial, to see if ya like it.

@Xfrond well the star wars game looked good but they changed now, not suddenly consulars and those "sith" casters are more healers now and sith warriors and jedi knights are semi tanks. the developers even said in the beginning that it was gonna be different from other mmo's but now its a tank healer like wow... I wanted to be a "Inquisitor" but what I have seen the "caster" jedi/sith is kind of an healer.... well great..

I really liked this game in pvp at lower levels. My highest level character was the White Lion at level 32. It got to the point though that the server would populate at specific times, often when i was not able to play, so i had to relegate to some pve, which quite frankly was colossal bore. Dumpy games like WoW could have learned a thing or two about pvp and collision detection between characters. Defending in a seige in this game set it apart from the rest.
now, the fact that I play the real warhammer RPG, this is one of the BEST MMO's I have played, it is so chaotic in PvP, it is so fun. And it doesn't take much to get good armor
im going to save up money (because im young i dont pay bills) get a good computer, then start playing WAR cuz im tired of WoW and i love pvp, i love the trial of this game, i want to get into it, so can't wait!

by quitting i was able to play really good titles like Dragon Age Origins,MGS4,Red Dead Redemption,Demon's Souls etc.If i was still to be playing MMORPS i would be either "raiding" or "cracking skulls" in PvP , for mere perks and items that will become obselete in few months or sometimes weeks.Same thing over and over again and again with every new DLC of Add-On , Rinse and Repeat.
I ment: PREMADE. RvR in WAR is all about organisation, and RvR guild are for it. Doesn't matter how good you are, and how many kills you get, you MUST depend on others. Best tank won't be able do anything without DPS classes on his side. DPS classes are not able to do anything without tank, which is taking most of dmg, he debuffs, he guard (45% less dmg on a target) etc. And also, without healers u won't do ANYTHING as any class(expectSolo

I think producing a "solid","well balanced","bug/gltich free" Single Player RPG is a far much far challenging task than sitting in the safe zone of "mutliplayability".

It's just awful, when you got your friendy guild-hardcore RvR with people you like, you join vent and a warband with 24 people (or more) and you clearn hordes of enemy's, but it has a prize. You need time to get into t4- rank 40, you need to depend on other's ALOT, war with healer on one side = obvious win for that side, that's why we got premades) and you feel great while playing with organised wb, which IS organised
Improve graphics? Well, type in YT ,,beauty of warhammer'' and you will see how WAR in real looks like. I think it's enough.
PVE? Well, war is totally PVP game, and i think the PVE Zones (in which they are completley empty) should be also RvR zone, with more keeps etc, it's just my opinon because many places on PVE are beauty and these are also completley empty, it's just sad.

WoW? epic easymode, instant pve, mobs, quests, afters hours you get bored.

WAR is way more better ,,copy'' than the ,,original'' wow
Endgame? Epic 24vs24 city battles with premades (your guild) and 24-200 ppl RvR, when in one great organised warband(24 ppl) you can kill 80 people. GOOD PVE just for gear for PVP (when best gear u got on pvp)
This game was so disappointing :( It started out so well. The war was fun, the races were cool, the environment was immersive, the PQs were a nice twist, and I loved playing my greenskin so much, but the whole thing just felt so unfinished.
Once you did the level 10 PQ, you'd done every PQ, they were all 100% identical. Kill X of these, then kill X of these, then kill this final boss and collect your loot. You got to level 20, then 30, and realized they were EXACTLY like level 10.
one thing i hate about a lot of rpg's is the battle animations. you should be able to tell whats actually going on just by looking at a battle, if you havent ever played it. a lot of times magic looks like lots of random energy/light looking things that swish a round a little, health points lower, and you cant really tell what the spell actually DID. melee atks barely look like someons actually choping someone else's flesh, sometimes the blade isnt actually coliding with anything.
I enjoy this game but talisman is the only career worth trying, and even that is clunky, the zones outside of the free trial tiers can feel a bit empty (I recall wandering the troll country and seeing population drop from 10+ people per public quest to like 3 people per zone).
The pvp, fun but ultimatly its a zerg fest. There are very few instances of 1v1 and this typically leads to tug of war from one base to the next. Still a fun game but it will never be WoW and is dieing.
Sadly, being a warhammer fan, I was expecting alot from this game but after getting all the bad reviews from friends who owns both WOW and Warhammer Online. I decide not to invest my life in this game.

They removed quite a few servers, and narrowed it down just to a few. Other then that, during the week its usually empty. Usually in the evening people will get on, but it still is pretty low populated. I play to get into scens or orvr, but it seems when you get around t2+t3, there is usually nobody around. Hope this helped..
I just quit WoW. It was really boring before lvl 80 so I quickly lvled to 80 and gtfo that toony graphic game. I've played WAR and thought it was much more mature than WoW. Graphics are way better on WAR. I will being going back to WAR really soon. PvP on WAR makes WoW's PvP look like something irrelevant to the term "PvP". WoW popped a lot of cherries and have a lot of close minded people that are used to that game play and don't like change. Everyone has their own opinion so u choose.

The graphics of the player models can only be loved, unlike wow, this game needs a decent graphics card. Wow is designed in such a way, that almost every computer may run it. WAR is not.

WAR in my opinon is one of the best teamplay games (Not mmo's) It may look chaotic, but it's very simple and with sense.
You play WAR for killing, not for gear, level, etc in WAR it's very easy to gear up:
In add war does not have such a system: ,,As you dress, you're cool and you kill everything''
Here the most important thing is: tactics, counter-attacks(debuffs, disrupting etc) and ORGANISATION :)
While i'm playing MMos, i still played games like dragon age:)

Endgame? Epic 24vs24 city battles with premades (your guild) and 24-200 ppl RvR, when in one great organised warband(24 ppl) you can kill 80 people. GOOD PVE just for gear for PVP (when best gear u got on pvp)
This game- 90% PVP
Boring wow- 70% pve.

Though i do like RvR i also like the difficult long pve group quests.

This game was so disappointing :( It started out so well. The war was fun, the races were cool, the environment was immersive, the PQs were a nice twist, and I loved playing my greenskin so much, but the whole thing just felt so unfinished.
Once you did the level 10 PQ, you'd done every PQ, they were all 100% identical. Kill X of these, then kill X of these, then kill this final boss and collect your loot. You got to level 20, then 30, and realized they were EXACTLY like level 10.

one thing i hate about a lot of rpg's is the battle animations. you should be able to tell whats actually going on just by looking at a battle, if you havent ever played it. a lot of times magic looks like lots of random energy/light looking things that swish a round a little, health points lower, and you cant really tell what the spell actually DID. melee atks barely look like someons actually choping someone else's flesh, sometimes the blade isnt actually coliding with anything.

I enjoy this game but talisman is the only career worth trying, and even that is clunky, the zones outside of the free trial tiers can feel a bit empty (I recall wandering the troll country and seeing population drop from 10+ people per public quest to like 3 people per zone).
The pvp, fun but ultimatly its a zerg fest. There are very few instances of 1v1 and this typically leads to tug of war from one base to the next. Still a fun game but it will never be WoW and is dieing.

They removed quite a few servers, and narrowed it down just to a few. Other then that, during the week its usually empty. Usually in the evening people will get on, but it still is pretty low populated. I play to get into scens or orvr, but it seems when you get around t2+t3, there is usually nobody around. Hope this helped..

I just quit WoW. It was really boring before lvl 80 so I quickly lvled to 80 and gtfo that toony graphic game. I've played WAR and thought it was much more mature than WoW. Graphics are way better on WAR. I will being going back to WAR really soon. PvP on WAR makes WoW's PvP look like something irrelevant to the term "PvP". WoW popped a lot of cherries and have a lot of close minded people that are used to that game play and don't like change. Everyone has their own opinion so u choose.

The graphics of the player models can only be loved, unlike wow, this game needs a decent graphics card. Wow is designed in such a way, that almost every computer may run it. WAR is not.
