Ican tell she is definitly not a 34 back size...I wear a 34 G and I got more weight that this model for sure =) I was professionally fitted and went from a 38 C down to 34 G now and hell this fits lots better..I can recomment every women to get a fitting..it is helpful and prevents you from having back pain.
I got professionally fitted twice, and I was wearing the wrong bra size for years!! no wonder my back literally hurt. I thought I was a full B cup, but turns out after i tried on numerous bras in a 32C and a 32d, that a 32D is my true bra size, and it fits me perfectly like it was made for me!! So many women think D cups are like pam anderson etc. most ppl dont understand that the cup size is proportional to the band size!! im SO glad i finally have my TRUE bra size! 32D and proud!! (;
not sure if im doing this right.. i ended up being like waaay bigger then i was before in band size and either way bigger or same size in cup size (just based off 1 inch difference)
I wish I'd gotten this info sooner. I've been wearing the wrong bra size for 30 years. My bras have *never* been against my body in the center, always the wrong band size, and always left marks. That's 30 years of torture. I recently went to a bra boutique downtown to finally get fitted properly, and bought 1 bra - cost over $200. But now I can order bras on ebay. If it had even occured to me to search for bra fitting info online, I could have avoided that expensive, embarassing trip.
Im 11 and i dont see my mom ever , i wanna get bra fitted by myself and like is Victorias secret the only one i can get it done by? i dont wanna get any bras from there cause i heard it has this stuff they make it in and gives you like a bad rash on that area..?
@selenagirl14 you can try to google stores that do bra fittings. then go to the store's websites and find out which ones are close to you. and im not sure about the rash thing. its probably just a myth but if your still unsure just look up other stores.
Don't get fittet at Victoria's Secret. They usally will fit you in a bra with a band that is much too wide and into cups that are too small. Also, their size range is very small, they actually sell bras that really fit a small minority of women. Maybe try and find bras by brands like Freya and Panache, they produce a decent size range. They might seem quite pricey but are worth their money. You can get fitted properly at any good lingerie boutique, selling a good size range.
or you can measure above to get you band size. sounds random, but seems to work for most. then measure you bust. if your bust is 1 inch larger, then you're an A, 2 inches, then you're a B...etc
Thank you for posting this. I showed this video to my mom and five of my friends and we all found it very helpful. Three of us were surprised to find that we are specialty sizes. I've been wearing a 34D but I'm actually a 30F! My back started fo fell better just a few days after buying my new bras.
Yeah, after a bra fitting, don't be surprised if you're actually bigger than you think. I thought I was a 34C before I got fitted. I'm actually a 32F. When I wear shirts, they actually make my bust look smaller. It actually looks like I'm a B or at the most, a C cup. A 32F isn't as big as people imagine it to be. To all the ladies out there, it's important to get a bra fitting. Did you know wearing the wrong bra can cause headaches?
Belladonnaeyes you are 100% right! I have the same underbust measurement too and also wear a 30, I would also say she should be about a 30F basically the bra should feel firm & secure but not painful around the back and the wire should not dig into any breast tissue and give 4 boob effect. Easiest way to check is if you can get bra fastened to last set of hooks immediately then go down in the back size- you should get 6 months good wear from a bra moving in hooks on back as and when necessary xx
There is no way that is a 34DD bra. She has the same underbust measurement as me, and I wear a 30" band. When the camera zooms in, you can clearly see that it is a snug fit (the way it should be) but if she was wearing a 34" band, it would be riding up her back almost as badly as the first one.
She should be in a 30F. Even if you pull the tape measure as tight as humanly possible, you should never have to add four inches. Just measure snugly and round it to the nearest even number.
The fitting advice is spot on, but then it is totally contradicted by the measuring instructions. If I followed the measurements, my bra would look more like the first (badly fitting) one!
The band on her back is not horizontal, it almost goes down to her waist. Wrong fitting.
