  • bat in one hand when you're accelerating a jerk

  • oh my fuck.... who is this guy LOL

  • i really wish i was a true canadian, i'm 18 years old and just starting with hockey... so it's just impossible to get as good as they are!

  • @whickedshell Bud if you want to get good don't let negative thoughts hold you back. Get strong and skate skate skate. I'm one of few Canadians that didn't start regular hockey until age 23 and I got good enough to keep pace with the twenty somethings even in my forties and fifties.

  • @27leafs that's true thanks, i will keep practising and training =)

  • Can u make a vid of those cool looking turns

  • man i wish i could do that ;[

  • i finally felt the beat!

  • good drills

  • there are different levels of pro boys. For one, if you play Junior and you get paid. Its considered pro. IE. USHL, CHL(OHL, WHL, QMJHL) and Provincial junior A. But those are Junior levels of pro. Players that are not of age to play in the AHL, or NHL play there. once of age most of them move on to the other tiers of pro.

  • i am jealous

  • Calm down everyone. Getting paid does not make it pro hockey. Think about it. Any team could pay their players out of team funds. But I must agree that the majority of teams who get paid anything significant are usually pro.

And no, you DO NOT have to be pro to wear a visor. You only have to be a part of a leauge where wearing a visor is whithin the rules/regs.

Halo -please do some research or get your facts straight before going on a rant on YouTube.

  • This should be an Olympic event. Extreme skating.

  • Players in the USHL wear visors and they still have amateur status. The only leagues that require cages that I'm aware of are NCAA hockey (CCHA, ECAC, Hockey East, etc.) and minor hockey.

  • ......... WOW !

  • Hes an artist,, one of the best,,,wonder if he has a "playsence" to?

  • My son is 8 yrs old and enjoys watching this video...the inside outside edging is awesome not to forget about the power of speed.

    thanks

  • 1:34, are you kidding me?

  • @Figmonster80 o shit youre right

  • what is this song?

  • Darude - Feel The Beat

  • i would like to get a pair but i have no clue where to get them or anything!! someone help me!

  • Kwik Goal Ankle Speed Bands - maybe these are them?

  • I just ordered some off of lifeline usa.

  • what is those things called??!!

  • love this song

  • thats guys freakin insane

  • What he did at 1:35 is awsome!

  • damm.. what a player!

  • notice how his helmet is undone lol, i bet hes a major junior player

  • He is, to only have a visor in Canada you have to be 17. He plays in the QMJHL, which is the Quebec portion of the CHL, the best juniors league in the world.

  • wrong, if you play pro hockey you can have visor, the qmjhl is pro hockey, but it is still a junior league, therefore all player must have visors, and goalies are not allowed to have cat eye cages.... and you do not know if this guy plays in the qmjhl, you incompetent little bitch =)

  • no, pro hockey is when you get paid, there are countless pro leagues in the world, the LHJMQ is pro, they get paid roughly 50 dollars every game... i know its small but all its just spending money... you would not be able to wear a visor if it was not pro...

  • Sorry but no, i wear a visor in my rec league all the time and its far from pro. It depends on your age, not your level of hockey. Think about it, it doesnt make sense that 40 year olds would have to wear visors for not playing pro, but a 15 year old phenom could get away with it. Also, the players in the CHL dont get paid anywhere near that money. My sisters boyfriend is a WHL goalie and he gets $25 a month. Do you know anything about this, or are you just shooting off at the mouth???

  • I play for the lewiston MAINEiacs... and you admit that they get paid, therefore they are pro.... i assure you.... you have no idea what you are talking about...

  • No you dont, your some loud mouth dumbass thats trying to make it sound like he knows what hes talking about over the net. Your profile page has no mention of hockey, and lists your country as the USA. Sorry to expose your lies, but you have no idea what youre talking about.

  • i have a younger brother.... he uses this aswell..

  • yo is he going 2 make it to nhl

  • He's good but how good is he with a puck

  • Very good.

  • he is my brother

  • seriously thts awsome

  • lol canadians rape in ice hockey and hockey, they absolute beasts, there arent many teams that can beat them, but maybe put up a good fight, but overall, they just fucking rape,

  • @poonageproductions i'm canadian, and i got rape by americans so... we arent beast :P

  • @qcpkerownz

    must have bee a fluke

  • @poonageproductions well yeah ... but we played like crap :P

  • this is in NHL level

    i can tell

  • some coaches do some of those drills like the squating drill and put one leg out then bring it in and replace with the other but mostly those drills are for higher up

  • Not the way he does.

  • that's why we sometimes got beat up by Canada haha

  • Very nice video! You are a very good skater.

  • why cant i see the video

why cant i see the video zB

  • damn canadians...

  • Funny :)

  • Power skater like Forsberg for instance

  • is that Wayne Gretzky?

  • Every self respecting hockey player can do it.

  • this has got to be some of the most incredible skating i have ever seen.

  • the thing he does at 0:23 i can do to (:

  • hes not that fast. They speed the video up at 1:43. Id smoke him in a lap my vids prove it

  • mike, he might not be fast even if the speeds put up but he's still wearing the band.

  • THE BAND

  • so? what does the band do?

  • again there's a difference between being a fast skater and being a powerful skater. if you were in a head on collision with this guy he'd flatten you. that's what power skating does, it improves your balance ALOT. It makes you really strong on your skates.

  • A lot of people have good speed on ice skates, but do they have the skill to learn to skate like that?

  • Ooooooh!

  • i would take a class from him

  • whoever the guy in the video is, he's a phenomenal skater.

  • Does anyone know who is the player in the video. he is an excellent skater and i am just curious to see where he plays

  • What is on the jersey. It kind of looks like a smiley face =)

  • Its a yellow circle with a skate inside it

  • he comes quebec city , I know because I live in Nicolet . So, he's very good player and very good skater. Il a appris sa a ste-catherine lol tchow

  • Good Work,perfect stride

  • there to keep a resistance on your skates son wen u take thm off you'll be faster. They wrk like ankle braces but for skates

  • what are those straps across the skates for?

  • checkout perfectskater dot com

  • gj coach
