That's not why America is there. There is a plan to build a pipeline supplying natural gas from Iran through Pakistan to India. That would really be a boost to this region. America does not want it. And if the pipeline happens, America would like to control it. Iran has vast reserves of natural gases. So the hostilities towards Iran can also be used to justify an attack on that country later by US.

The Pakistani people are sufficiently different to cause problems in India though IMO - certainly with thier religious beliefs as well. In the UK Indians are friendly and generally well accepted - Pakistanis however are hostile, vile people - dopey, big nosed, microcephalic, hate filled, drug dealing, child raping fanatics. India should take most the land and the good people; the majorty of the people (the Muslims) and some land goes to Afghanistan.
