  • Does your passenger have a kazoo?

  • That's the weirdest sounding stall warning I've ever heard

  • @5StarDirector if you knew the systems, that is because it dont take any DC power to operate.

  • @beergut111 Of course I "know the systems'...never heard the reed buzz like that though.

  • @5StarDirector they all have that.....in case you lose all electrical power you're stall warning still works..

  • @beergut111 Yes, I understand that....however, the reed that produces that sound rarely sounds like it did in the video.

  • @5StarDirector that is what all cessna's stall warnings sound like.

  • It was reported on a Deaf dating site named Deafornot dot c om that 500,000 Deaf individuals in the United States claim American Sign Language (ASL) as their primary language.

  • how did they cancel stall and spin training? for a ppl? it would be like cancelling paralel parking for a drivers license! i could be wrong but when i was working on my privates license back in 95 thru 97 it was not just necessary but mandatory. its the pilots ticket out of a nose dive to death.

  • the reason that they canceled spin training is pilots would go up and practice them on their own so they only do spin awareness.......basically it is spin training (we still spin the airplane)

  • I was scared the first few times, but after that I'm ok. I could do them all the time now!

  • thats what happpened to fulviiii

  • Cut the engine, kick in that left rudder and feel your balls go to your throat!

  • Recovering from a stall in a Cessna is easy..just let go of everything, they recover themselves. haha

  • @pilot1srw Is that true they will correct themselves?

  • @doughauf yes. My instructor and I just did it today. We entered a power off stall around 2500ft AGL and we just let go of the controls and it recovers =)

  • o my lord shiva i have to go through this in flight school :O

    Holy mother of ghandi!!!!

  • no they cancelled it because it was too risky.

  • @thetreeregimovies in calgary Alberta CA they have not cancelled them u need to learn them every REC private and of course commercial pilots u cant get your liscense if u dont do spins

  • ahhh nothing like the sound of that stall horn. sounds like a broken violin :-)

  • my instructur is spin shy. Would like to do a spin but while I solo. I got the theory, have not put to practice. Good work!

  • I think my instructor is too. I've already solo'd twice. He said solo time is the time to go off and scare myself a few times. Haven't tried anything outrageous yet but the time is coming! 20h into it.

  • My instructor had me do spin recovery on my second flight. This is great training. Find an instructor who is certified to give stall training. It's good stuff.

  • Uh in a Powered off stall he is not suppose to use Ailerons because that wouldn`t help. Since all aircraft has left turning tendencies when going into a powered stall or a powered off stall he is suppose to use full right rudder to avoid a spin out and dip the nose down.

  • I can't wait to do that, I'm rebuilding a 150 engine right now and I'm gonna get to fly it next week hopefully.

  • I remember doing stalls and spins in a 150 at Chilliwack airport. I still feel the gut getting queezy when I hear that stall horn! LOL

  • I used to LOVE practicing stalls. Don't forget that H.A.S.E.L check first.

  • hasel? i have heard OF HALTE wat is hasel??

  • height airframe security engine lookout/location

  • hmm...my instructor tells me to check: seatbelt, fuel selector on both, fuel shut off valve in, mixture rich....this is after we've done the 180 clearing turn obviously....

  • The "E" covers the fuel selector both, shutoff in, rich mix, T's & P's green. The "L" (lookout) covers the 360' clearing turn. Its a good mneumonic I think.

  • squeamish valley the thoughts of practicing that is a little daunting, but Im sure it'll be fun!!

  • hahaha i love the stall horn

  • i hate the stall horn... it sound like a birthday horn

  • but that horn can save your life.

  • SCREEEEeeeEEEEeeEEEEEEEECCCHHHHHH.....

  • Ummmm....your baby was crying - did you forget to feed it?

  • I'm 51 and have been flying since 17. Even today, the only part of flying I don't enjoy is practicing stalls. I don't enjoy roller coasters or rides and this duplicates those events for me.

  • cool video, but it sounds like you forgot to make sure there are no small animals living in your stall warnings during preflight. LOL! SCREEEEeeeEEEEeeEEEEEEEECCCHHHHHH.....

  • centre Aeilerons an then opposite rudder to recover isnt it?

  • P A R E. power off, ailerons neutral, rudder opposite and elevators forward to break the stall. :)

  • Gotta love that stall warning!

  • Gotta get the air going back over the wings:) Good job! Just need some Kruegers on there heheheheheh or maybe some slats

  • lol @ stall warning

  • Haha, it definitely did sound like a baby crying. Good recovery though.

  • That stall horn sounded like a 2 year old crying...but nice spin.

  • Stall horn was dying I think

  • Ouch. My right foot instinctively went for the rudder and I hit my knee on my desk.

  • L M A O

  • lol, I know what you mean!

  • hahahaha so did mine!! that's hilarious!
