Game Maker 7 Pro is not limited, there are so many young inexperienced users who use GM, making it look like a toy for kids. :\

yeah well, i dont know. It just reminds me of a lot of really simple 3D games i have seen made in GM. But yeah, you can make cool stuff in GM - but it takes time to get there. I'm still at scrub level myself and doubt i could do better than what we see here.

lol, Game Maker isn't limited what so ever... If you think game maker is limited ,sethshazam, you've probably never used code before... drag and drop options are the only limited thing, but those are for beginers to get the main idea of how the AI system works.

Why would you dimish it's fun and take out most of the animations, the sounds, the effects etc...???

I'm past Duke Nukem... I used to build maps for it years ago... but lost interest... Managed to release a whole episode though... so I'm not just some random shithead who mouths off at random videos...

The Build engine is limited... in the fact that it's old... Was amazing back in the 90's... but now it's just ancient...

ok so i just looked at the million dollar game and it does the same thing. So you have to type to program the game. and then you can play it?

Yes. Duke-O-Maker is a TC of that game. You have to type, as if you were programming a game and then you play it a and earn (virtual) money for it. I got above $1 000 000 but below $1 500 000. I don't know what was my biggest score.

Stupid shotgun? Sorry for replying so late. I might help you. If you have programed a few games (Other than in a street with green backround in the menu, assault troopers, a shotgun and a pig tank) you can change the weapons in the third column from the left. Hope it helps.

What? Have you read the manual?

You can only have 1 certain weapon per a game you make in the Duke-O-Maker green ed. and there is only a certain selection of weapons, that in my opinion fit the best (don't worry, the Duke-O-Maker will include another weapons and stuff)

These certain weapons are: Shotgun, Machinegun, Expander (from Atomic Edition), akimbo of Duke's pistols and the RPG. Well the RPG does not shoot a rocket, but works as a rocketlauncher, because when there are 3 enemies in a group and you shoot only one the others will blow up aswell.
