flintoff - one of the most overrated players ever. his persona built on a couple of good performances such as the ashes 2005. just a solid test player, not a great player. look at the man's stats.
Hey guys, I am looking for some info, can you help me? Which was Brett Lee's first match after he remodeled his action? If you see his 5 wicket in 2003 world cup and compare to this video, you can see he has changed his action [after some ankle surgery] and I wanted to find a video of his first match after that.
Flintoff is one overated cricketer. OK he helped England win the Ashes, but that doesnt make him a Legend. Shame he couldnt do anything at a world cup.
@faz7862 The top players (be it Tendulkar, Gilchrist, Murali etc.) are all judged at Test level. Test cricket is the pinnacle (and still the best format) and The Ashes is the ultimate contest. Today was brilliant.
@WestLondonWarrior The Ahses is the ultimate contest for England and Australia only, i hear they are going to create an annual Test World Cup so that would be great. I give England credit for winning the T20 but it has to be said half their players arent even English (Morgan, Pietersen, Strauss, Kieswetter) they are the ones who made England win whereas the English players harly do anything (Collingwood).
Brett Lee comes across to me as a really nice bloke playing in a team of bastards (with a few exceptions) and desperately trying to act like a bad boy. The funny thing is he is such a genuinely good guy that he fails miserably at doing so! Also a terrific Test bowler and perhaps the best ODI bowler since Wasim and Vaas left the scene.

What an awesome post-wicket celebration!

One of the best deliveries you'll ever see. Around 94-95 mph hitting the top of off stump. Awesome ball.

2,000 blood vessels were damaged during this celebration.

@brynjones11 A 3-1 Ashes win, with all three coming by an innings. I'll take that.

I just think Lee was trying to take the piss out of Flintoff. Flintoff does the same celebration whenever he gets a wicket.

Brett Lee was nothing in this. In 2005, Freddie Flintoff was Man of the Series.
Sir Andrew Flintoff.
