HI, my name is Kevin Bell I am the actor in the Choco Mel commercial that brought you more than 20,0000 hits. The only way that I have ever been able to see this work that I did is because of you. The company that filmed this (Connection Films) was suppose to send me a copy but, they never did. I should have taken a trip to Holland when I had the chance but I never thought the commercial would have such success. I would like an original copy. Thank you for putting it out there.
@gekhoed Jaren is it? it's Kevin i read your e-mail today. I just cannot believe that the commercial was that big. I will tell you a funny story, I was 24 years old living in L.A. pursuing an acting career and my agent called me for an audition, I show up in a white T-shirt and jeans and there are 50 other guys dressed the same way when I arrived anyway I remember going into the audition room with 8 other guys, we were all asked to slat our name and agent, and drop our pants, and I won.
@kbellhangtime : Kevin, @gekhoed is right! Everybody (I'm 36) of my generation (give or take 10 years) knows this commercial! It was one of a kind, especially because it was an ad for chocolate milk, not really something you would expect a naked man...
@bratwa According to a news article from 1995 it was filmed in Venezuela. I think the ad was already on tv in early '95, so it was probably filmed in 1994.
@oonai5000 Thanks for your comment. But don't you think there are to many caucasian people in the commercial since it's in filmed in Venezuela. Would be pretty expensive to fly them all over to Venezuela...
@bratwa Well, 50% of the population of Venezuela are white or of European descent. So there are enough caucasian people, some of them could also be tourists. But flying in actors is something they do all the time. Remember that this is a Dutch brand and they still went to the US to find an actor. There have also been quite a few American tv shows that were filmed abroad, but still flew in American actors. This is only 1 ad, so not THAT expensive. Filming in Venezuela is probably cheap.
@marloeszzz Het originele nummer is 'Little Ole Boy, Little Ole Girl' van Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

The black woman with sunglasses who is covering her friends' eyes is epic too!

@jpckuijer I think it's actually her (grand)daughter, not her friend. The girl seems to be a child.
