We know as a scientific fact that matter and energy cannot make themselves yet they exist and hence we have a paradox that requires a supernatural event since self existence is not natural. There is nothing paradoxical about a deity possessing the attribute of self existence. God is self existent. That is your answer. less of a paradox than self existent matter

@nonthiestnc except your faith in the idea that life came from non-life, energy and matter made themselves, and evolution has resulted in entirely new species emerging despite the fact that it has never been observed. Not to mention your faith in the scientific method to render reality despite the fact that the Heisenberg uncertainty principle and relativity tell you your senses may be fooled if not poisoning to that which you observe.

@nonthiestnc Well, the sky wizard is more likely than life emerging from non life or all the energy and matter in the universe coming from nothing (both instances are against all observable science) These individuals have a very well studied and reasoned faith that requires less "blind faith" than big bang cosmology and evolution.
