  • I love being from st lou :D

  • @Playstation3Gamer10 Without him there wouldn't be no Lady Gaga.

  • Chuck Berry the best the big daddy of rock n roll thanks

  • Great quality!

  • This was another biggie by this black artist. I still wonder who was the bigger of the two; Fats Domino or Chuck...I'd say Fats had more top 40 hits but then Chuck Berry may of had more #1 hits and Gene Chandler was a one hit wonder. Thx4 postin'

  • Chuck Berry is the 1st Black artist to truly cross the race barrier. It was mostly whites buying his music, As for this rendition of Back in the USA , Linda Ronstadt hits it out of the ballpark. For me , i just think it's one of the best renditions of any rock song anywhere. Thanks Chuck, and thank you Linda!!

Everybody watch the great documentary on Chuck Berry called "Hail Hail Rock and Roll".

  • @guitarra30001 Uhm, how about Sammy Davis Jr.?

  • @TheDJGrandPa No question that Sammy Davis Jr became a major star , and was so versatile in so many areas. . I would maintain that for mass appeal to the white population , Mr Chuck Berry was the man who crossed the black to white barrier.. of course we later see his huge influence on the likes of the Rolling Stones , Beatles and Beachboys , to name a few....

  • @guitarra30001 True, Buddy Holly did the same, only you change the colors around. Maybe not the Beach Boys so much.

  • @TheDJGrandPa I LOVE BUDDY HOLLY. Yes Buddy is huge !!! Paul McCartney's biggest influence , he also influenced (as you say the Stones ), the group the Hollies was named after Buddy Holly. I gotta believe even the Beachboys loved Buddy. Every year there's a BH Tribute sponsored by Sir McCartney.

  • @guitarra30001 You don't say? I'm a huge Buddy Holly fan (in fact, he's my favorite artist, well, a tie with Gene Vincent maybe.) His influence is undeniable, and spans over many years. The Beach Boys are certainly more influenced by Chuck, but there's some Buddy Holly in them too, but Buddy was too far ahead of his time for Surf music. Their later stuff is more Buddy than Chuck I'd say though.

  • chuck berry is a bad ass

  • Chuck was in at the start of Rock , a leader and all others followed .. John Dengie

  • The Marquees are backround group without Marvin Gaye. Etta James is also in the backround with the Marquees.

  • This is the most incredible, talented, artist I have ever heard. He had even more influence in creating rock and roll than even Elvis. And, I heard he's still touring at 84! This song is very appropriate for now, considering what's happening in the rest of the world.

  • A truly crappy thought. There was no one bigger than chuck berry and lil' richard. Also, people liked Elvis because of the complete package not just the music just as they responded to Michael Jackson.

  • 3 chord turn arounds .. same music different words... just saying ... but i like it and i like to play it.....

  • He wrote the song because he was homesick on a tour of Australia

  • I think he wrote this song because NASA sent Chuck Beery song into space on gold disk with Beethoven that is how important C beery is to music and that's how he is seen that is some comp from USA and NASA now Johnny Be Good is now traveling at 42.000mph looking for other advance life forms great and if they find it the first song they will hear is J B Good lolol on sputnic satilalite great R&R history i'll take that over being called King and 1bn sales any day he must be very proud go chuck.

  • Every time I come back from deploying overseasThis is always the first jam I blast!

  • Sounds like Buddy Holly and Elvis mixed, but actually this is THE original sound

He is THE king of Rock, Not Elvis. But he is black that is why he did not make it big like Elvis. Its been always like that in US of A.

  • @urkingod I concurr

  • @urkingod LOL!!!! True True

  • What has happend to this nation Vote the imposter out

  • The intro kinda remains me of " Johnny B Goode " . Chuck Berry 4 life !

  • @Go4omir i think it sounds like that because he probablyt relizes everyone loved it so much
