I don't know if you've discussed who is performing the song, but a lot of attacks, consonants and vocals have the same features of Claire Lefiliatre's voice who usually sings with Vincent Dumestre...
I listened to this song on youtube some time ago. It was much slower, and moved the heart to bleed. Does anyone know where such a masterpeice could have gone?
I fear that ohad3210 may be correct. Nonetheless this is a truly captivating masterpiece. I heard this song for the first time around six months ago, however it was much slower, and nearly brought me to tears... and I don't even know Italian. I imagine that when angels weep, it must sound very much like this...

this blond guy, is he Jérémie Renier??
sansfrontieres2 2 years ago
@sansfrontieres2 Yes, and the 'singer' is Natacha Régnier.

The lady who sings this (who might not be the beautiful blond girl we see) is so good.
I think the performance is moving enough without having us watch the blond guy with the red shirt crying (no matter how handsome he is).

@legato699 The girl who sings this is Claire Lefilliâtre, the actress is Natacha Régnier.

@ohad3210 you mean is a playback, well yeah, quite obvious, but since it was for a movie then i guess that's why they do it that way.

Magnifique version de Claire Lefilliâtre et du Poème Harmonique de Vincent Dumestre. Une de mes préférée. Simple, élégante, beau timbre chaud.
