the innocence and 'beauty' of this film, the naive character by abby (stunning) and the simple, haunting lyrics & voice-matched perfectly with understated acting:- is it any wonder that 'somersault' 'swept up' 13 of the 14 awards (i think ) for that year? sadly, it greatly impacted on me; it was and always will be a profound movie-because and despite of- it's raw and ugly depiction of love taken-not given. i was at the Coldplay concert in Syd last night, and I really enjoyed Decoder Ring. It was very chillax music in readiness for Coldplay. I liked that they didnt use lyrics... the music was pretty epic at points.

That said, Coldplay were fantastic. Lovers In Japan was possibly one of the best live songs I've heard.
