  • What i like about Robby is that he is a master at keeping it simple, he don't try to use big words or any of this new age fancy crap. just good foundation and great form with lots of hard work, Robby is a great teacher and a true legend.

  • Due to a car wreck that seriously injured my wife in 2010 and then having our home almost distroyed by tornadoes in 2011. I have only been to the gym one time in almost two years. I work out at home and the only back exercises I do are bent over rows elbows out pulling to the chest and bent over rows with an underhand grip pulling to the the stomach. Strangely, I have not lost a bit of lat width. I plan on buying or building a lat machine, but I'n not sure it will make much difference.

  • Great info I already do these movements and they do work and bent over rows will give you great back thickness .

  • I can't believe someone learning nothing from Robby Robinson. Great video. Keep up the work out videos with Robby. You along with Robby are a wealth of knowledge. Everything he says makes sense. Just did his arm work out today. What a work out. Any chance of Ed Corney on the show?

  • ric do you think rowing movements are really necessary for back width ?

  • That comment about barbell row hurting the lower back is valid, and a BB with more sophistication would be able to suggest alternatives to the vanilla rowing exercises mentioned here. Robinson could get away with using just the standard exercises, even when sometimes they're not always the best, because he had great genetics, a good work ethic and combined that with drugs.

  • He uses very standard exercises. I've learned nothing. There are some better variations of each exercise that I believe can be better, but he was never an experimenter-thanks to genetics he didn't have to experiment.

  • @hardcorehouse Well if you know more than share it with us along with your photos and titles

  • @ricdrasin Calm down, try to be sufficiently secure to be able to handle valid comments that u don't like without melting down.

  • 3:15 dude tryin to show off his ballet dancing

  • 5:29 I used Robby's technique and was sore for 4 days. Very effective.

  • Robby's a legend and comes across as a true teacher as well. Love these videos, Ric.

  • Yo can you ask Robbie about Dorian Yates? I'm so anxious to hear what he thinks about him especially since Dorian has the best back currently in bodybuilding.

  • I really like your videos, Ric. You're a good host who knows how to make an interview interesting. I hope you get many more view in the near future.

  • Robby really is something! Too bad that many young bodybuilders can't appreciate these old-school guys unless they look like the monsters of today. I sure hope Tom "businessman" Platz will change his mind about doing videos with you. And maybe more videos with Al Beckles? Anyways, keep on enjoying these moments with the legends again, Ric!

  • Ric, have you asked Franco to come on your show?

  • Great vid.

  • RIC can you please teach us how to get those awesome ARMS you had in your 70s video

i always when i look at that i say .. he really did have a unique physique and arm..

i havent seen robies arm in workout but you had a really good streached bicep and it looked very separated and great! i wish i could know how to get those

  • @TheRogueMonk thx for the video needless to say to robbie also

  • great vid ric, thx!

  • Maybe it's time Tom Platz remembered to back when he arrived in California with $50 and no guarantee of success, I think he would of gladly had the free exposure. Tell Tom Platz we don't want him if all he cares about is money even though he already has ample. Robby has intelligence and can see the value in doing Ric's corner.

  • Robby and Ric are true champions for sharing their training knowledge and true camaraderie of bodybuilding.

  • CURRENTLY TESTING WHETHER BARBELL ROW IS BETTER THAN CABLE ROW AND PULL DOWN

  • This is great. You guys need to be spreading your knowledge. Bring in Tom Platz too! This Robbie Robinson stuff is invaluable

  • @froggy777666 Tried Tom Platz, he won't do it unless we talk money

See the donation tab on my rics corner site trying to get funds to continue and bring in people and up production

  • @ricdrasin um, tell Tom Platz to go to hell then.

  • @ricdrasin then he doesnt love bodybuilding...

  • wheres steve strong?

  • @MrJerrydmz66 I give up. Where is he?

  • this guy really likes to break his back, lower back,,

  • nice tip on the cable row, extra pump by putting your head down and letting elbow bend

  • Robby one of the greatest. Excelent tips, really knows his stuff.

  • i like the way this guy goes slow

  • @simpletruths10 Lets see your body compared to Robby's, lol

  • @ricdrasin saying he goes slow is a compliment, it means he emphasizes the negative postion of the rep, few do this, although the best always repeat it

  • you guys are insane, barbell row is not #1, cable row is #1........,

  • @simpletruths10 followed by pull down
