In all honesty Nick, for low head room track, I don't think people should cut the arm, I think they should extend it so it has a significant angle... Think about it, on low head room tracks, the top panel does not arc up like a normal lift, it pivots back. So, having the arm on an angle would actually do a better job then having it straight up, since it's pulling the door back, as oposed to arcing it up. My rule of thumb when I'm doing installs is when I have normal lift, I do the arm at a 20

Yes. I did not show them on this one. Actually on this one, they are bolted to the floor...
