If you want to watch real competitive football watch non-league.. I go down to my local club every home game. I would say non league is more exciting. Beginning of the season my team was 1st place top scorer and was 9points a head.. We finished 23rd with 39points. Also in non league it's not a monetized game and teams spending more than 250k a summer is rare the exception being to Crawley town.

@COLLATER4L Because it's not soccer, it's Dootball. All of the other kinds of 'football' around the world use their hands. Real Football is the only game called football where you actually kick the ball with your foot a majority of the time. All the other require some kind of catching, throwing or carrying. That's not real football.

The problem I have is American's dictating how the rest of the world should behave. When most of the rest of the world call 'soccer' by it's proper name of Football, then that's what it should be called. It was called Football by the people that first invented it and it's called Football by most of it's fans. Football is also _played_ by more people than those that watch sport in America. America is only 5% of the world, it should learn to listen.

On the contrary, it's the complete opposite when people like you get angry for Americans calling the sport by its name in our country. The sport is officially called Association Football, or Football in most of the world.

If you want to watch real competitive football watch non-league.. I go down to my local club every home game. I would say non league is more exciting. Beginning of the season my team was 1st place top scorer and was 9points a head.. We finished 23rd with 39points. Also in non league it's not a monetized game and teams spending more than 250k a summer is rare the exception being to Crawley town.
