Well games that are meant to be First person view types then changed into 3rd person is what makes the game look odd to me. Maybe it's due to the wider viewpoint you get. I just don't like seeing so much of the map from that angle.
In watch mode, the view is automatically set for 3rd person, until F4 is pressed, then it can go into 1st person. At the same time, you don't get much map view from 1st person
The only downside, is that camera control is lost in 1st person mode. But, again, this only applies for watch mode. Since the difficulty is set for God level, watching a match in all 1st person, is not a good idea. Since the camera will jitter all over the place, when the CPU does any dodging abilities.
That, and the fact the option to switch from 1st person, to 3rd person & back again, has existed in every PC version of Unreal Tournament, since the original UT in the late 90's
3rd person never existed as an option for the console versions of Unreal Tournament when it got ported to the Dreamcast first, then PS2 next, as an attempt to replicate the PC experience. The 3rd person option was also devoid on Unreal Champoinship & the console version of UT3.
Personally, I like seeing how the characters look in watch mode, and have freedom to move the camera in the direction I choose. Instead of seeing a character during the death animation, or when about to be killed.
Any other FPS game, would not mind 1st person, but only if I'm playing it. The very next video, will be in 1st person only, and you will see what I mean, as to why 1st person is not good for watch mode.
A prime example of this, is the following: on UT2k4 (or any UT PC game for that matter), if you switch to a bot, and tried to move the camera, it's like the mouse does not work.
You can only move the camera, if you either are looking at a character the camera has locked on to, or by right clicking the mouse, and have full freedom of the camera, from a 1st person shot, in 3rd person view over the entire map. in any direction you can free roam the camera in.
Nice idea but try (roulettecash . net) This bulletproof gambling system earns up 200 to 500 USD daily.
