What nonsense to say hitting a baby with bamboo doesn't hurt. Even adults feel pain when you hit them with bamboo, which is tougher than wood, for those who don't know bamboo. That baby that was hit, when he wanted to play rough with the tourists, was like a 4-5 year-old human age wise. Over all, Asians are still very backward, using methods on animal husbandry their ancestors used thousands of years ago --- physical & mental torture --- to break & to get elephants to submit.

LMAO These people care for and protect their elephants, but they have to protect tourists too, so they have to keep the beasts subdued. @ArchieAA They weren't beating it. They were just letting it know to back off. I think elephants skin is pretty thick and they wouldn't be hurt by those pole taps. It's like how people go all crazy when they see race horses being whipped during a race. They don't know horses have thick skin and to them it only feels like an encouraging tap. Most jockeys love their horses to death and would never use the whip if it hurt them.
the tourists in this video are idiots - shouldn't be provoking a little elephant like that - causing it's trainer to hit it.......fuckers
