  • Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam

  • "an International Force at work against a National Force..."

  • Professor R.Bittrage LOL.

  • A lot of truth in this.

    "capitalism in conflict with democracy"

    "Greeks being sold into bondage"

  • "Optimism, I love optimism!, I'm so pleased I came."

    hahahahahahahahahahahah

  • 5 stars. Nice historical references, but what exactly does Karthago has to do with Greece? It's all about Italy now, isn't it..

  • Ended weirdly, unless I completely missed some (historical?) reference. :)

  • @utubesqueeze: When Hannibal invaded Rome, he entered Italy with an army of Elephants through the Alps (mountains).

  • brilliant

  • Seeking to divide Europe from Africa at the Island of Gibraltor then exchange virtual promisary notes until no one could fault a private investor with no debts that will fester can only be seen as Good Government in your dreams; on the other hand here we see C&D for free! (Nearly.)

  • Actually weren't the slaves actually highly payed professionals? Malnourished slaves aren't gonna row that hard, even with the whip.

  • very VERY good. Well done boys.

  • Gee, when you have a debt based global economy, gee, guess what happens? Look up the excellent documentary called 'The Money Masters" and learn how for every $1 banks loan, they can create an extra $10 out of thin air. Fractional reserve banking is the fancy name for it. The same money changers Christ kicked around are behind it still today.

  • My Western Civ classes are coming in handy.

  • Love you guys.

But it's not a contest between Democracy and Capitalism. Socialism stabbed Capitalism in the back and took it's place.

  • @TheSunergizer how?

  • @TheSunergizer I think you mean crony capitalism ran over capitalism and took its place.

  • @pawqmasta00 I think you mean Kleptocracy and Plutocracy just changing dresses every few elections. And yes, both those words come from Greek, they knew it long time ago but you can't do much about it.

  • @pawqmasta00 That too.

  • @TheSunergizer I think you have that the other way around: capitalism stabbed socialism in the back. But there is and there never has been a living example of pure socialism in a state. Rampant, hardcore capitalism succeeded so well in part because western businessmen managed to make socialism and communism dirty words in order to make people paranoid about the ideas.

  • this had a more serious tone to it.. until the end! haha

  • the new sacking of Rome... excellent

  • These guys are too funny. "Slaves rowing ships around the Mediterranean."

  • At least Hannibal didn't run out of money...

  • @stuwydotp

no... Hannibal just ran out of friends.. :/

  • @stuwydotp or vinegar?

  • What elephant?

  • I Hope europe fails, and the countries become countries again. Democracy...... no one votes on the Euopean parliament.

  • @chuckles1125 If Europe falls, black markets will thrive and so will too organized crime in the power vacuum.

  • @Choo69 European Union is organized crime. On a higher level than Mafia.

  • @SubzeroedMind Actually, IMF = International Mafia Federation

  • @Vlakpage IMF, WHO, WTO, UN... I get the feeling that everything "internationalized" is putting forward their private/corporate/local interests.

All of them are in the same bed.

  • in a nutshell
