One thing that pissed me off is that at the end of Doom3 Betruger was shown in Hell as the screaming agonising face in the mouth of that winged demon. It was clearly indicated that he was there to be tromented for eternity. But no, it appears that if on earth (or Mars) you tangle with the forces of Hell and fail you don't get eternal suffering, you jsut get a big kick-ass demon body.

I know Doom3's Hell isn't the best representation what we percieve it, but c'mon...

-first: before enter that area, check if your artifact is full charged

-second: once you entered the room use it one time, search for the demons that are spawning in the area and hit them with your fists.

-third: look for dead bodies behind the walls in order to charge the artifact in case you need to use it more than three times

Doom3 is perfect, RoE isn't, for exemple many monster don't follow you enough. Still RoE is close to perfection, it's a great game, and the abilities of the Hellstone are very interesting to manage.

I noticed a debate about whether Betruger/Maledict is "The Devil". I believe that the ultimate Doom baddie used in the other games was the Icon of Sin, a gignantic bio mechanical goatskull with an exposed brain which spawned all the other demons. It may be the voice of the Icon of Sin which was heard during the stages of Doom 3, and the Icon may have been the mastermind behind Betruger, or maybe one of his other minions like Spidermind.

Grab and throw is an instant kill! The plasma gun is by far the worst choice against these skulls named "The Forgotten ones". The Plasma bolts are too slow. So you see our player burnt his ammo hitting hardly anything.

At the beginning after you fight the first hunter, it will slow time. After defeating the Berserk Hunter you get slow time and huge boost of Fire Power in your weapons, and after fighting the invulnerability hunter I think that will add invulnerablility to the heart, along with slow time and berserk at the same time. To charge it (max 3) you find a dead body, then point the heart at it, it will disintigrate the corps and add a charge to your Artifact. Use only when needed.

I said it before: Personaly, I don't think Maledict is the Devil. You can hear the Devil's voice in Doom 3, when you fight The Guardian, saying: "My Guardian will destroy you!". And in the end, before you fight The Cyberdemon, saying: "So you've made it this far!" and later on: "Get on earth!" So I don;t know what to say, perhaps the producers will introduce him in Doom 4.
