@qaesar09 PC world don't stock this model of Wacom tablet anymore. They sell either the Bamboo pen model or the bamboo pen and touch. They are even better than this model and worth the purchase.

I use GIMP, and it works fantastic! :3 I haven't used Photoshop, so I'm not sure which is better, but GIMP works great and definitely would work for a tablet.

I saw this tablet advertised by ALDI for 50€. I think i'm going to get this tablet, I don't see much difference between this one and the new generation bamboo. Am I wrong?

ps. I have been using a broken Volito2 for 3 years. The pressure sensor was fucked up from the fist day. So I need a new tablet for a good price.

@renevp2 I am still having great success with this tablet. I even used a Intuous professional tablet and tbh I didn't see any difference. Go for the one in Aldi

@crzytwilightlvr Amazon has a bunch of them, but they may not be this specific one. I ordered one yesterday; you can get a factory refurbished one for under $50 (it was $49.98 to be exact), and that includes shipping.

@HarryetN This is an old version of the Wacom Bamboo. I'd recommend going for the bamboo fun pen & touch. That said, I haven't had a single problem with my tablet

Curious about tablets, first time buyer, long time artist. Is there any delay between drawing and seeing the line on the screen? I've noticed a lot of tablet PCs and stuff like that have like a 0.4 second delay time between the time when you press the screen and when the line appears, this is so irritating, cause if you have fast strokes the comp lags behind. Do Bamboos do this?

@FappingFury No, not at all, I just got this today and I've been testing it out, it's exactly the same! No lag at all, the only bad thing for me is getting used to what area the pen is for the screen if that makes sence, wonderful product though :)

The review wasn't that informative on the performance of the tablet.

I had a tablet once and curser would move before the pen actually touched the tablet (A good 2 or 3 mm above it infact) which made it useless. things like this would really help a review.

@aQSteve tablets are pressure sensitive. When the pen hovers above the pad, the cursor will always move. Only when it touches it, does the pen effect happen.

@swingking338 but why doesn't that happen with me?? when using GIMP, i have to left click on the pen to get a line and when i do use the pen on the tablet and take it away the line is still drawing! its like its still left clicking when its left the tablet
