Tickets to this concert were given to me by my now husband for my 21st birthday present; fantastic memories...fast forward 20 years and I reunited with the people I went to this gig with to see The Wonderstuff and Salvation support The Mission in Leeds. Miles has grown his hair again and for all the world it was like I'd gone back in time to see him looking as he did all those years ago; I felt like I was young again. 20 years have past but they were as good as they ever were. Love you stuffies!
Brings back memories! Really big day out and worth the effort, even if the weather and sound were shite! Even Vic & bob did their turn. The Stuffies a stadium band!! Much more fun than U2!
Awesome !! Does anyone still have the welcome to the cheap seats documentary?? My high school was part of this history!! Many bands played there over the years including the Wonderstuff. But I can't find it anywhere!! Help me please
If I remember correctly this was at the Bescot Stadium (Walsall FC). Great gig! Although there were better ones. I followed the stuffies all over as a young teenager. Even took time out of school to follow the whole UK Hup tour. My mum went mental when I got home. :) Oh well!! Best moment for me was at Brixton Academy....supported by Janes Addiction. a one off and what a great f***ng gig. Holds a massive place in my heart.
Is it my imagination or was the mosh pit like the whole fucking pitch, i remember it was mental when they came on. I still go to loads of gigs /festivals cos of my job and nowhere ever seems as crushed or bouncey as this day...oh lord..great vid
As a five year old it confused the heck out of me how all those people got to the concert ground so fast in the middle of the clip.
This documentary was the thing that kicked off my obsession with music as I played it on tape everyday when I was a young'un. Needless to say, it is absoloutely nostalgic on a scary level to watch it today :).

same here. it also kicked off an obsession with finding those tartan trousers. 15 years later i did, if only to wear in bed.

As a 16 year old i thought this was the most exciting band footage ever to have been captured....as a 33 year old...it still is. What a band.
