While the phrase, "none of your business" sounds rude, I believe in this scene, Burt had a right to say those words. When you meet someone for the first time, it is extremely inappropriate to ask them questions about their family relationships. Christine should have become more acquained with the grandfather before asking him why he barely knew his granddaughter. I just feel this way because too many individuals have asked me questions about circumstances that did not involve them.
