She has some vocal talents...but she really needs to refine her technique! I think Romola Garai can actually sing, but I guess she was told to purposely hit the notes badly?

I don't know why but everytime I hear the name Daniel Deronda, I always picture a woman! That's the way with George Eliot - she has a knack of contriving odd names. The book was an interesting read, I hope the series isn't a disappointment
