Yes yes, I so agree.. the drama is way more detailed and that's what I love about it. I like the drama better than the movie. Although I saw the drama first. I mean don't get me wrong, the movie was good but I do like the drama way better. And I like the drama cast better. The drama is much more sad and more touching, it made me cry so much. The movie made me cry a bit, especially when Hiro cried saying that he didn't want to die..

I liked the movie better. The first couple eps of the drama is just like a re-make of the movie, no new stuff yet. :) I just totally fell in love with the characters from Koizora, they're so awesome. Best Japanese movie I've seen yet.

I'd say both the drama version and the movie version's characters did good. They all had great acting skills and stuff. However, I do enjoy the movie version better. Actually, at first I didn't realize it was different actors/actresses till my cousin went: they look different and told me to watch the movie version.
