@TheBlarges Probably because the Nazis wiped all record of them. On evidence, yes and no. Is a plant growing in a garden proof that someone planted a seed there? No. The seed may have been dispersed from another plant and carried on the wind to land on that very spot. Or an animal may have carried the seed there on its body. And anyone can claim they were "forced" to confess something they didn't do to try and get out of being convicted for what they did.

And it is not possible to universally remove all evidence or records. Not survive, therefore none existed in the first place.
And anyways the red cross were in all the camps throughout the war. They totalled 280,000 deaths mostly of plague and starvation towards the end of the war due to genocidal allied bombing of german cities.
But i guess killing germans doesnt count right?
