What you dislike others will like and vice versa. But Armin is the true king of trance when he wants to be. I personally liked Armin's style better before he become no.1 dj. But don't talk bad on Armin because he has many different styles of spinning and trust me on this that you haven't heard all that he represents.

Armin's remix is fantastic, but it has not got the depth and deep feeling. It goes more for a "slap in the face" euphoria, more than this version which has a "contemplating" euphoria.
This song is just great. I loved it when Oakenfold spun it on his essential mixes. I tried listening to the AVB remix on a Tiesto album, but I couldn't stand it. It was far too fast and not well produced. But I've never really liked AVB or Tiesto much. It would be difficult to remix this song because it is so good as is.
I agree with you Trance elevation, I had this on vinyl on Platipus records, the AVB mix is good but I prefered to play this one in my sets, it's more minimalist, less is more.

4me Viola, like most of his trax, is simply Magical. Goes really deep, under the skin of Reality and touches the very fabric, which then instantly vibrates through me. It is a Mirror 4me somehow. Deep understanding radiates from every beat. Some ancient, higher understanding and solidarity. Blue passion... It is so lonely! I don't know how Moogwai could catch all that. Now it's just trance by numbers. There's plenty more tunes where this came from which I think would still blow people away who haven't heard them 'cos they are so used to hearing drivel. I like this version best too, but then again I just love everything Chab produces. :D
Armin's remix is fantastic, but it has not got the depth and deep feeling. It goes more for a "slap in the face" euphoria, more than this version which has a "contemplating" euphoria.
If you know what I mean. :P

This song is just great. I loved it when Oakenfold spun it on his essential mixes. I tried listening to the AVB remix on a Tiesto album, but I couldn't stand it. It was far too fast and not well produced. But I've never really liked AVB or Tiesto much. It would be difficult to remix this song because it is so good as is.

I agree with you Trance elevation, I had this on vinyl on Platipus records, the AVB mix is good but I prefered to play this one in my sets, it's more minimalist, less is more.

Hearing this really makes me happy. In fact this is the way trance should be!
Nowadays trance became too much "electric" and the original trance feeling was slowly destroyed. We really have to bring back those hypnotic, deep and melodic loops which are the essence of trance experience. Not casually as a tags I've put "Real Trance Music".
Imo since this is your favorite trance track means that you have a very particular sensitivity!

4me Viola, like most of his trax, is simply Magical. Goes really deep, under the skin of Reality and touches the very fabric, which then instantly vibrates through me. It is a Mirror 4me somehow. Deep understanding radiates from every beat. Some ancient, higher understanding and solidarity. Blue passion... It is so lonely! I don't know how Moogwai could catch all that. I think he is really a Genius - IMO, at least:) Pure, honest Music, thats all, dear Soul Brother!

@TranceElevation Agree with you in everything. I bought all the trance records from the mid nineties until a couple of years into the noughties. Then it lost its way somehow. Now it's just trance by numbers. There's plenty more tunes where this came from which I think would still blow people away who haven't heard them 'cos they are so used to hearing drivel. There's no SOUNDS like this anymore

Yeah fair enough. A lot of people aren't that keen on TT's version. After hearing their remix of Art Of Trance - Mongoose, it is rather weak, in comparison.
