Yes. Abba did tour the US only once. They have a tribute group going around like the Beatles have Rain. Both were here where I live. I wish I could have gone to either one. Anyway, I love this song and it's one of the main reasons I bought their gold greatest hits recently.

Just to set the record straight. ABBA only toured the U.S. once. They were such a big hit the Europe it was bigger then the Beatles. In Australia it was if they were a cult I mean No Artist ever came close to there Fame there.

Years later the play mom mom MIA was built around ABBA songs and was one of the longest running plays of its time.

Not unlike the Beatles ABBA has that Unique sound thats never been duplicated

Personally, I have no clue who this Rihanna is. I am from the ABBA era of 30 years ago and remember all their songs as they came out. My only point of contention is when I see ABBA bad-mouthed by those too young to know what they are saying and who have no idea what they are talking about.

I grew up in 1970s when it was not cool to admit that you like ABBA. I liked Alice Cooper, The Eagles, The Doobie Brothers, Deep Purple, etc. And Abba....but I was a closet fan :) Criticize them for being too POP, but you have to admit their tunes were catchy, fun to listen to, easy to sing along and dammit if you didn't feel good listening to one of their songs, then you were either dead or heavily sedated.
