  • when i zipp my pants down i can controll your girlfriend

  • Heh, this is funny because it sucks

  • hhhhhhhhhhh u make me laught from my ass lol man wut u think is this car from futur lol but nice video 5 u tryed hard my advice stop watching load of movie lol wherever good video dude was so funny

  • this is not so useful, it would be more useful if the whole car would have little moving sensor cameras and they would interact. Like you would point to the object then snap your fingers to activate that part of car. And then just move it with the motion of your arm in air.

  • the girl was talking from the car not the cell :D :D :D :D :D :D :D roflllllllllllll

  • this video was so fake but super funny! the buttons were painted and someone was playin some instruments wen there was music. so stupid but funny! chapis said it was super retarded,...

  • You are dement very strongly dements

  • This video simulates futuristic car technology described in the patent US7,295,904 that is issued to IBM and in the patent application 20070028749A1 that also belongs to IBM.

  • There is no touch sensitive wheel. It's all FAKE !!! There is no IBM logo , and if U go to their site you won't find this krap.that is an old Saab with a painted wheel.

  • soon to be HAL?

  • Awesome! I totally love it! very clever idea.

    The video is great!

  • I was amazed by the new technology that allows you to control the music with your finger touch!

  • The cool idea is in the lip-controlled music synth/drums at the end of the video.

  • i dont your technology

it may be useful in djibouti but not here

  • Some viewers asked why a touch gesture recognition system is used on the steering wheel when buttons on the wheel could provide the same functionality. They also asked how the car knows what gestures correspond to the different commands. The answer is: touch gestures can produce more command possibilities than buttons alone. Also, a driver can generate any touch gestures that he / she wants and then teach the car which specific gestures correspond to which in-car commands / operations.

  • There were questions from viewers why one would need a lip-reading recognition command system if there was a speech recognition system in the car. The lip-reading command recognition system can be helpful for situations when there is noise in a car (for example if the radio is playing or the windows are open). Also, if a child is sleeping in the car, the driver may not want to wake the child by speaking commands aloud.

  • This is a great video, I like the idea that once implemented in a car the functions can be customized to the particular driver. This is a powerful thing...many technologies do not allow a user to move past a number of pre-sets. I can see this as even more vital in a car where a driver has his/her own regular tendencies. Where I live it is illegal to drive while holding a cell phone, this would be a great adaptation / tool for us, as well as the other functions of the tool. Great Job!

  • This feature - playing music via wheel can be activated for short times in cases when a driver is tired and danger for the driver to fall asleep is greater then to be distracted by playing music. This music feature in the wheel is not allowed to be activated if the car is moving with high speed on a highway.

  • Clever ideas. Video, though home-made, also very entertaining. Doubt that the motor vehicles bureau will be too happy about anything that takes hands off the wheel or distracts you from driving, so the lip control is probably more welcome than the hand control, but a case can be made for the hand control too: not for playing along with the music, but for functions that would otherwise have interfered even more with driving, like opening a window or turning on the air conditioner. Bravo!
