  • quem vai querer fazer a mascara dela?

  • odeio essa enfermeira cara

  • Your awesome!

  • Coool o-O

  • where do u get the tape thing

  • 0:00

  • 1. Paper Mache, google it. Flour + Water

    2. Just take the bag off after it dries.

    3. Yes it's easy to breathe in this mask due to all the ventilation slits i made in between the crevices.

    4. Thank you all for the kind comments and I apologize for the crappy video that was put together, it was really on the fly and not planned out I didn't think I would get this much attention.

    5. Please thumbs up so ppl can see -___-;;;; so many repeat questions... lol

  • Maybe teabags would work better? Stain it with that then the flesh red paint.

  • @HotCocoRockkah i don't think teabags will work on plaster as it's a smooth surface, fabrics and actual paper (not paper mache) can be stained with tea. But it is worth a try :D

  • You... are... a GENIUS !!! But just tell me cause I think I missed something, what do you do with the bag ? Do you just take it off or something ?

  • I forgot to make a hole in the bag and I sufficed, then died.

  • You have the same desktop back round as me haha.

  • What store did you get the pain at?

  • 4 people got stuck in this mask

  • haha awesome.:P

  • can you breath in this ? 0_0

But mask is perfect for me :)

  • that is soooo scary

  • i love you!! thank you so much for making this!!

  • Can you make one for me? Lol

  • wow nice :D

  • Me:Oh shit silent hill nurse.

    Friend:Ruuuuuuuuuuun for your life.

  • Around how long did it take to make? because I plan on being a nurse again next year but the mask I made this year was just a masquerade mask but it didn't as quite the same as the movies'. That one took me 2 days to make with adding all the bumps and such. So yeah, how long did that one take to make?

  • Very nice tutorial, thank you!

  • Is there any possible way to get it to dry quicker??

  • @NinjacatAlex letting it dry outside in sunlight, other than that i don't believe so. maybe a blow dryer.

  • Omg thank you for this! I'm planning on being a Silent Hill Nurse for halloween but I'm using gauze so hopefully I can work with that instead. Anyways thank you for this tutorial it really helps what i need to do with the painting and stuff :)

  • @DarkLover676 Good luck

  • I found that plaster strips and a masquerade mask really cuts down on time, and it seems easier to work with.

  • @AislinnFaye while i agree that would speed up the process for making the front of the mask, you won't have a full mask that covers about more than half of your whole head.

  • this is really cool :D

  • girl make me one i liveeeee

  • good job !

  • Does this get hot?

  • @realitysmaster not too bad

  • song?

  • i just wanted to apologize to everyone for the sloppy vague video, never did i think it would get so many views!! in the near future i will do my best to remake the video so that the steps are clear and concise.

  • this is a pretty amazing idea, i like it

  • @pouchirory thank you! all credit goes to the makers of silent hill :D

  • this i very cool pleas make more mask vidios!!!

  • @shanedawsonrulesist thanks! ^-^ will do

  • what about the hair?

  • @shedog100 i used the end of a stocking and wore that, painted it to give it a fleshy tone and then put the mask on.

  • how the crap were u alive in that bag?!

  • ok ive never made a mask before so whats all the materials you need for starting out to make a mask shape

  • Did you seal this mask after you painted it?

  • What was the dark paper stripes over the white

  • i try to answer all the questions i can sorry if i miss you. my "mischievousminny" account is no longer active due to the password being irretrievable. Feel free to message me on "poipoiminmin"! Please thumbs up so people can see? :D

  • Now all you need are a pair of boobs. Oh, and a nice sexy ass :P

  • I will make this mask on this year for halloween ^ ^ and Your video is very helpful ^ ^

  • @cosglupiego1 good luck!

  • When You Tried Staining With The Acrylic, How Well Did It Come Out ?

I Would Like To Use What I Have On Hand, And I Have Acrylic Paint .

I Was Wondering If I Could Still Get The Mask To This Desired Look .

  • @ultrasmexy you cannot stain with acrylic unless you water it down. acrylic will give it a slightly glossy look, i prefer matte. try watering down the acrylic paint a bit to avoid having a shiny coat to give it more of an organic feel.

  • where can you get plaster strips in vaughn??

  • @Angelsgonewild i'm sorry i dont understand D: what do you mean vaughn? you can more than likely order it off amazon.com

  • WTF

  • doesn't this make your face all hot? i loved it but i don't want to get all hot of my face specially my eyes? does that happen?

  • @Melurigar it wasn't too bad, i made a lot of hidden slits in teh mask so it's well ventilated.

  • @Melurigar ah okay thanks i'll try it out :D

  • woooow thats amazing!!!!, i loove your mask

    thanks for the video

  • @blchichigo01 thank you!

  • give it to me

  • @AYazreeq ^_^; maybe

  • @poipoiminmin what exactly did u use for the paper mache and stuff?

  • @tam1lt0n flour water glue

  • um can you use duck tape ? ....:P lol

  • @skatesnowmylife maybe D: but it wont be hard. will be flimsy.

  • THAT IS AWESOME!

  • Thanks I definitely enjoyed this tutorial, great mask. I'll try and follow it through : )

  • What did you seal the mask with? You are a bit vague.

  • @screamolives o_O how is clear acrylic sealer vague? can be found at any craft store.

  • @poipoiminmin I only saw "sealer". Thanks

  • @poipoiminmin Can I buy that off Amazon? I've been having troubles finding something suitable

  • @screamolives try searching for "DecoArt DCP24-9 Patio Paint, 8-Ounce, Clear Coat" on amazon. really they sell the clear sealant in any aisle that has acrylic paint. you can get it cheap at a craft store for $2, if you can't find it i'm sure a sales associate will know what you're talking about. avoid using spray sealant though as the fumes maybe unpleasant.

  • @poipoiminmin Thanks, I FINALLY found an acryllic sealant in a local craft shop for about £3 a couple of weeks ago

  • @screamolives ahhh are you in europe?? sorry but i'm glad you found the sealant!

  • Comment removed

  • Can i just use some sort of tape instead. All the local craft stores in town do not have plaster tape?

  • @pixiechic211 You could get it from a chemists, I bought mine online for under £3 for 3 metres.

  • where would u buy plaster strips also does it come wet or do u add water

  • @shedog100 michaels, amazon, ebay, ac moore, come on people google it. no you add water.

  • What would you recamend to use to cover the back of your head with this mask? I wear a balding cap under it but need something to cover the back to conceal it XD. Something that I can just attach and unattach to the back of the mask easily.

  • @animeghan i wore a stocking cap over my hair, kind of like a wig cap except a flesh tone, before hand painted it a little to match the mask.

  • how whould you do it but what if you do hurt your self

  • Ah, I'd suggest anyone making this mask to buy more than 3 metres of plaster strips. I didn't have enough, my mask is still drying but it seems like it could be flimsy and I'm having my doubts about it sitting far back enough on my head

  • hey guys i try to check back here to answer questions as often as i can, sorry if i miss anything feel free to message me.

  • how well could you see out of the mask...? btw you did an amazing job.

  • @matdude123 there are vertical/diagonal slits that give you visibility, the great thing about this is that it hides the opening, thanks!

  • can you use adhesive tape insead of the plaster stips

  • @TheBrookins123 no that's silly.

  • Ok i finished paper mechaing the mask. i now need to paint it. Do i use while acrilic paint first then poster color. what colors am i to use? so far it looks like black red green yellow and brown. Also you mentioned a sealent or somthing like that before applying the paint. where can i find it? what is it?

  • @ResidentEvilFanchick i would recommend not using acrylic paint as it gives it a shiny look. if you paint directly on top of the plaster material it will give it more of an "organic" feel/look.

  • sweet mask

  • @johndachtler1 thank you ^^

  • can you use spray paint?

  • @MrXackman yes that is a possibility.

  • Did you let the plaster dry before adding the newspaper/paper mache? Thank you so much for this tut, best one on here!

  • @melfink420 yes the plaster was dried thoroughly before adding the newspaper.

  • hello from scotland you brilliant wee demon! this is without qyestion the best demonstration i have seen. just a few questions (and dont worry i aint gona ask how you survivied the plastic bag or anything) anyway: how to do remove the mask from your head? do you peel or rip the back? probably a really sily question but i think you are used to those by now lol. all the best xx

  • @LPdef123 hihi minny here, thanks for the kind words! it slips right off if shaped correctly.

  • whats that song?

  • @aliascavil that would be Promise Reprise.

  • What was the white strips??

  • Comment removed

  • @RosieOlvera They're plaster strips.

  • how do you see or breathe? :7

  • how did you breath?

  • *put a plastic bag over your head*

    ALRIGHT

    -chokes to death-

  • @klwaffles2010 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! i'M STILL LAUGHING OVER THAT ONE!

  • mischievousminny its awsome!!

  • Mk...Here are my questions...

Great tutorial by the way :3

When do you clip off the excess bag?

How big and where do you put the slits? (like right over the eyes and mouth or secret like or some thing ((stupid question I know D:))

Can I just Paper Mache with no plaster strips? D:

(Not even sure where I can get plaster strips around where I live ._. (very very small town))

Aand would I have to wear a wig cap? :3

I noticed most nurses don't show their hair (or have any..) Please help? :3 <3

  • @ZexionGirl14 hey there, thanks! the bag is just so you dont have to get plaster strip all over your face and makes clean up easy, so no need to make it too neat! and if you're referring to when to strip off the bag, it's after the you take it off your face (after the plaster has hardened enough to keep its own shape) you put the slits in between where the crevices are so they are hidden by the ridges. yes you can do paper mache but the drying time is way longer!

  • @ZexionGirl14 i wore a stocking to hide my hair and painted on top of that. sorry for the wall of text and short answers, limited characters T_T

  • @poipoiminmin

    Its mk :3

And so wig cap it is! :D

And I have made my mask already :3

Thanks so much for this tutorial <3

  • @ZexionGirl14 ^_^ grats!! no problem!

  • @mischievousminny You started with an Operator Symbol.

  • For all the people who are looking for plaster strips...

I find them at Michaels, or really...any craft store. xD

  • where did you find the plaster strip? is it just gauz with plaster on it? or is the strip already in plaster? what kind of paint are you using as well?

  • I hear about plaster strips all the time when it comes to mask making, but where on earth could I buy it!? The most I think I could get is liquid latex at my local partycity but thats basically it, and you don't even use that in here lol.

  • @JensNewFitness don't know where you're from, but i bought mine at the local pharmacy. cheaply too.

  • ok i was wondering i am looking to make a theater mask thing is i want to make it more durable like i am going to wear it a lot durable any ideas on what i can do?

  • How do you see and breath through that thing :O?

  • this gonna give my grandmother a epic instant death heart attack

  • yay i got something great to do in the holidays......... scaring my friends =p

  • hey um how do you get it to be white do you paint it or wt? =I

  • sorry guys for the late replies i tried to answer everyone's questions!! this is mischievousminny by the way account was hacked.

  • A friend of mind linked me to this video because I've been trying and failing to find any decent tutorial for this mask. I will try this method with much gratitude. Thanks for posting!

  • @shebeast844 great thanks!

  • Errr plastic bag ...scary mask ! Omg ! I was wondering how do you make the plaster strips or is it plastic strip ....???

  • @aihentaigirl as i said in the video you may find plaster strips at any hobby craft store such as ac moore and michaels.

  • actualy you just saved me... i have to make a slenderman costume for my friends movie shes making and slenderman is faceless and i had no clue howe to make a faceless mask so ya this actualy realy helped me thanks !!

  • @Dnangelrocksify :D awesome!! hope it comes out good!

  • I just wanted to thank you for this video.

I'm thinkin' of doing this for Halloween this year & I wanted to make sure I did it right.

Before watching this I was trying to figure out a way to wrap my face in bandage & gauze for the effect.

This is a lot easier! Thanks a lot =]

  • @pollyollymoshingfree aww no problem! definitely do it! fun costume to make!

  • how can u sleep with that in ur house

  • do what we did in art class put vasoline on your face and the bag on you hair

  • @experimenter19 yes but the plaster strips are also going over your hair, id rather just cover it with a plastic bag. as long as you are not closing the opening part of the plastic bag you wont suffocate. just don't be stupid about it, simple. can't breathe? take it off.

  • yea thats smart trying to suffocate yourself lol

  • can you have a tutorial on how to make a paper mache ichigo hollow mask

  • @TheIce64 :( sorry i'm not sure if i can! i think there are plenty of other tutorials on youtube though!

  • what exactly did you use to cover the face like a clear trash bag please tell me what you used so i could make masks

  • @XMw2Fanboy it was just a plastic shopping bag. again please do this at your own discretion and be careful if you cannot breath take it off.

  • can you sell these? :P

  • isnt that DANGEROUS

  • is that clay at 1:14

  • @Horror998 plaster. she used plaster strips to make that

  • @Horror998 no it's paper mache, a simple water and flour mixture.

  • can you make it the easiest way

  • dude you said make sure you have the bag over your head like its a commit suicide we ant doing that

  • super ta vidéo

  • Are you spuped that´s a Plastic Bag!!!!!!!!!!! you can DIE!!!

  • @zikkonn That's why you have to cut holes in it, so you can breathe.

  • @PandaxBizarre But is very dangerous

  • @zikkonn Hold your breath, draw the places where you need to cut, take the bag off and make the holes. It also says in the description you have to be careful. Just don't go hyperventilating with the bag over your head and it should be fine. I think everyone who uses this tutorial has enough common sense you understand you shouldn't suffocate yourself. And, hey, I don't know, maybe you can even use a paper bag instead?

  • @PandaxBizarre ok sorry for the You are stuped sorry

  • Plastic bag over your head? So much for listening to one thing my mum taught me not to do.

  • @shadow5614 Seriously? If you think that's creppy... just watch the movie...

  • @MrsGameOver movie succked, the game is way better

  • @TheReverantChoir I completley agree with you, but the nurses don't look as scary as the movie,

  • I'm so glad I found this. I'm going as a silent hill nurse to tekkoshocon and this is the best tutorial I've found. I'll definitely have to post a video response when I get it finished. :)

  • @TwoDeadGirlsNetwork thanks! good luck :D if you have any questions feel free to contact me. cant wait to see the result!

  • Was there a specific sealent you used before the water colors and all that? Like a brand or something?

  • @AliceGoBoom nope any acrylic sealant will do! usually 2$ at your local craft shop.

  • @poipoiminmin

    Alright thanks :D

And sorry, more questioning but, did you later make a back to it to cover the rest of your head? So the hair wouldn't show?

  • @AliceGoBoom not a problem, i ended up wrapping my head with gauze before putting on the mask :)

  • @poipoiminmin

Oh, okay! Thank you so much!
