I was born and raised in Indy, and before we drafted Manning, our franchise was synonomous with losing week in and week out. When Manning arrived, he was able to turn that around and made us one of the best teams of the decade. If it werent for Peyton, I don't think Indianapolis would have been able to have a professional football team. I knew every Sunday, I had something to look forward to, but with Manning gone, I really don't know if I will be able to continue to be a fan of the game.
the press confrence made me cry it was so hard seeing my hero cry i dont think irsay thought about peyton at all i am still really upset i will always see him as the best qb ever to play the game yeah he might not have a bunch of rings but those rings only prove how good the team around you is it doesnt prove how good individual players are just look what he has done for the colts could barely get 2 wins with out him that there tells you alot about peyton
and why does he always let us (texans) take the lead at half time and then comes and scores 28 points in the fourth quarter to beat us, its not even fair hes like teasing us.
being a texans fan, I know I should hate the colts but the way peyton plays qb is amazing. the texans are 0-8 against manning at home and like 15- 2 all time, if this was against any other qb it would be embarrassing to me.
The game is just not the same without him in participating :-/. Im not a Colts fan but Peyton Manning is a true player in the game of NFL and hands down has all my respect as should everyone. He is a True Man and even a God of the gridiron. Wishing you a speedy recovery because as much as I hate to admit it. You are the heart and soul of the Colts.....
@TaylorGang1990 rings dont tell how good a player is it tells you how good the team is around you he could retire with one ring no one would care every one will reamber him for his comercails his great 4th quarter comebacks his pride his glory his play calls and how he was the only qb to master reading the defence
The first game I saw was him against the jaguars. It was incredible, because I just saw his throw that ball across the ball with ease. After that game I became a fan of the colts and of Peyton Manning. I wanted to be great, like him. I had my football as a head rest while watching the game. I looked at the ball and I knew this is what I wanted to be. I went outside and threw the ball for hours, endless hours. Now im heading into HS trying to be the starting QB. If not anything, ik to not give up

@fofoish777 all big NFL broadcasters tend to say they would pick manning for a clutch situation to brady.

@TaylorGang1990 But He wont retire with Just "One ring", He's going to have atleast 2 or 3 Pray for Him and the Colts.

@TaylorGang1990 Lots of the greats only had one. Look at Montana. Hes possibly the greatest ever and he had none.
