While that's true most guitars of this vintage that turned color did so as a result of nicotine and contact with natural oxidizers such as sweat. That and just being around ANY ultra violet rays from the sun for 50 years will fade a nitro finish. I find that the ones that are still Blue were either cleaned after used often or didn't have as much clear or any clear coat. The clear coat seemed to turn more than the color coat. Thanks for your interest!! E @ Revelator

I'm sure a lot of work went into this. But doesn't Sonic Blue only turn green if you're constantly in the sun or the guitar's been in the display window exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time? My idea of natural aged Sonic Blue is still that it's still blue, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm sure that guitar is set up great!
Now that is one gorgeous looking and sounding Stratocaster! In my humble, Revelator makes the absolute best vintage reproduction on the planet! I've been drooling over his work for a couple years now and can't wait to pull the trigger on one of these superb instruments.
@Flametopology I have just ordered a 62 strat neck from Big E, and it is almost ready to be shipped to me. I can't wait to get it! Your right bro, Rev guitars are the best in the business.
