ACL Reconstruction - Double Bundle, Single Tunnel

I had an ACL reconstruction surgery done about 7 months ago and my doctor used AperFix. I play volleyball for my university and it was extrememly important that my surgery was effective and efficient. Sure enough, I am back in action and AperFix allowed me to be 100%. Tiger definitely needs to get on board.

Wow, that looks really slick. My doc hacked up my knee doing some sort of bone-tendon-bone approach and now my knee hurts when I kneel all the time (hope that won't hurt Tiger lining up those putts!). This looks much cleaner and being a biology professor, I appreciate that this gets closer to a natural ACL - very innovative. Wish I would have known about Cayenne and AperFix a few years ago. :-(

After being introduced to this product at the AAOS conference in San Francisco, I have begun to use it for all of my ACL reconstructions. To me it provides a more logical and anatomical repair. My patients are not only rehabbing much faster, but I am not seeing any of the complications associated with the other ACL reconstruction systems available.
