  • how big is your tiger oscar? he looks like one tough dude

  • @Resume08 He's close to 13 inches and yeah I have to be a bit more wary now when cleaning his tank out...check him out in all his glory in my other vid - Fabulous Tiger Oscar.

  • Those are the most complex insults I have ever seen on the net.

Do you give lessons, because we can all use this knowledge.

    THUMB UP!

  • @id104335409 Hey!! Happy to share the knowledge.

Watch this space, it's never too long before another hater comes along, where if brains were a disease - they'd be the healthiest person on the planet.

  • Your tank is too small, but I guess you already knew that. I hate people that buy living animals and don't know how to take care of them. I hope you burn in hell for this animal abuse.

  • @jaymangu Your grip on reality is too small, but I'm guessing you don't know that, so I'm giving you a heads up before it's too late. How dare you begin to assume that I don't take care of animals in my care - My Oscar is in wonderful condition and thriving due to the attention I heap on it, as are my two Hungarian Vizslas and Corn snake. Part of my job involves animal welfare and I would never compromise this. I hope you get bummed in hell for your comment abuse...sure you'll enjoy it.

  • @s4dana4 Just because you sweep up hair trimmings at PetCo, does not mean you are someone involved in animal welfare. Your tank is too small by the way.

  • @jaymangu The only thing that needs sweeping up, is the crap that falls out of your mouth every time you open it. I would explain my job to you, but I doubt your miniscule brain cells would even begin to comprehend it. Your usefulness on Planet Earth is too small by the way.

  • @jaymangu How can you tell from viewing just one corner of the tank? Are you a wizard?

    Dumbass

  • @jaymangu 33gal tank is the minimum tank size required...

  • I've had oscars and piranahs. Oscars are more aggressive but don't have the teeth to back it up. If they did, they'd be more feared than the Great White shark.

  • I guess I gotta start listening cuz I don't want this psycho fish invading my dreams at night.

  • Comment removed

  • mine was betta

  • @DICKIEMONSTER Sure!! If I said, "I had a black cat" - you'd say, "I've got a panther"

  • my male oscar does this when he sees his own reflection- gets all sorts of pissedoff

  • Strong DUDE

  • just add gold fish and he will be happy :)

  • Are you holding a mirror?

  • @merolanick No - he's seeing his reflection more clearly in the glass, as all lights outside of the tank have been turned off.

  • Beautiful oscar!!! I lOVE his colors!!! He has an awesome personality too!!!

  • @SNL0209 Thank you!!! Thank you!!! and Thank you!!!

  • Lmao, one of my old ones used to do that.

  • He's displaying for territory - mouth open, fins out, flashing - Probably because he sees his reflection in the side glass when you turn off the lights. He thinks another Oscar is coming to take his space.

  • @farkhans Totally agree with you!

  • what kind of filter do you use for his tank??

  • @gumbi8989 Internal filter that came with the tank and externally a Fluval 405 - used Fluval's for years with no issues.

  • cool fish

  • @betafishtips98 cool comment!

  • The tank is alright IMO but i fink the water quality is bitching him or he got some disease.I wonder if it still alive!

  • @TheNutish It still alive and aint no water quality bitching him, yum rartle ead. OMFG!!! He's reacting to his reflection - he thinks his territory is being invaded.

  • You have nothing to worry about... mine did this right before he died

  • If u

  • Reading these comment's I am never gona post a video of my two oscars lol. People can be dickheads

  • @boomshuka LOL! You're right, but the bulk of the comments are positive and no matter what there will always be haters, just for the hell of it. I find it a nice challenge to stick it back to them, with a bit exra for good measure.

  • When you turn off the lights outside the tank, he sees his reflection (the outside light is more powerful than the inside light, so when it is turned on, he sees the outside light rather than the inside light reflecting off the glass, so when the outside light is turned on, all he sees is the reflected inside light).

  • nothing much he's just taking his reflection as another fish. btw you have a very beautiful oscar.

  • @DarkShadesOfGrey it fine to let him live yes , but to see him swim natural no!

  • @AweSomo84 To see him swim natural, he would have to be back in an Amazonian river...no!!

  • @s4dana4 nop, fish should swim not hover think

  • He wants out of that small ass tank bitch.

  • @NUKeS4R3NT Your one brain cell wants out of your small ass head, cos it's getting lonely...BITCH!!

  • @s4dana4 yeah everyone knows that smallest tank you could possible keep an oscars in is 10,500gallons lol

  • hes trying to attack his reflection

  • His.color is great make more vids

  • NICE TIGER!!!!!!!

  • Very pretty Oscar you have. I'm planning on getting 1 Oscar and a Dempsey. Do you have any tips that would be helpful? do's and don't's. Im reading what i can but sometimes better to get info from keepers themselves. Thanks

  • The tank is obviously way to small if The oscars face touches one side and his tail the other, the full length of the tank is irrelevant if the Oscar can't even turn around in a decent way, and all you dickheads who say otherwise are just as ignorant as the Fuckwit who allows his beautiful fish to be cramped up like that!!!

  • @amzunit Firstly, neither his tail or his face touch the front or back of the tank when he is sideways on. Secondly he has no difficulty whatsoever in turning around in the tank and thirdly...If I'd have wanted to listen to an asshole, I would've farted. You accuse me of arrogance and yet you're quick to call everyone else "dickheads" who don't agree with your comments. I expect I've flushed the toilet on bigger things than you - most probably didn't smell as bad though.

  • @s4dana4 OMG that is by far the funniest thing I have heard in a long time..."If I wanted to listen to an asshole I would have farted" That is classic, seriously LOVE that hahahahahaha

  • @Spiritseeker222 LOL!!! Plenty more where that one came from...glad you liked it.

  • @s4dana4 Subscribed for sure!!!! Ha ha

  • My Oscar is in a huge tank with sides and a back made of two way mirror, he can see himself all the time and has never once attacked his reflection, he also gets startled by the light and but still doesn't do that! The only time he ever did that was when he was getting to small for his old tank!! Your O is beautiful but the tank IS to small, just because you own one doesn't make you all knowing on the subject, you are way to proud of your arrogance and you are ignorant, it's disgusting and so i

  • @amzunit Not you again!! The only thing I'm proud of is my Oscar...Oh yeah and my quick wit! I'm certainly not arrogant or ignorant. I've successfully kept tropical fish for years and have never proffessed to being, All knowing but knowledge is gained through experience and I'm happy to share or discuss the limits of my knowledge with anyone who asks in a civil manner - which isn't you. People who treat me with contempt, get the same back, plus a bit extra. BTW, thanks for saying my O is nice.

  • @s4dana4 If you care , you would home your Oscar in a bigger tank . Don't try smart talking pls ty :)

  • @AweSomo84 The thing is: I do care. which is why my Oscar is in the best of conditions in a tank that is extremely well maintained and IMO of an adequate size for 1 Oscar..."the proof is in the pudding" as they say. Of course I would love a bigger set up, but finances and space are tight and so I do the best with what I've got... for now. Check out "Fabulous Tiger Oscar" video on YouTube, to see just how good he looks. You didn't smart talk me and so you didn't get any in return. Danny

  • @s4dana4 Hey m8,

Thanks for the comment m8. But I don't understand. Even now i have a 300us gallon tank i still want a bigger tank for my fish so they will swim more natural . I mean if you have the money and the room , i would say go for it man it such a differences and he will look even more fabulous take care m8,

Erik p.s if u like here are my oscars and tank watch?v=3a5rlr2dxoo

  • Neat looking oscar. I never saw one like that. a beauty.

  • i really like his colors my oscar has a darker orange

  • My Oscar is doing exactly the same thing but I think hes doing it because he wants to eat. When I feed him he stop doing this.

  • really nice oscar

  • I think he's a beautiful looking specimen!! I keep coming back to your video!! I've been told my tanks are to small from time to time as well it's annoying because my fish are all healthy!! I don't know you can never win lol!! :)

  • @zoeeileve Thank you. Your great comment is appreciated and I'm glad you like the vid enough to keep coming back...have you seen my other video: Fabulous Tiger Oscar? shows him in all his glory. I would say just ignore the haters, but as you can see from some of my comments, I haven't managed to do that yet. It is annoying when you dedicate all your time and efforts into ensuring your fish have the best conditions possible, space and finances allowing. Thanx again. Danny.

  • @s4dana4 I hear you it's annoying as hell your trying to show how beautiful your fish is and someone says "he'd look even better in a bigger tank" You know I have trouble ignoring nasty comments as well sometimes they seem so unnecessary!! Actually in your video your camera is cutting off a portion of the whole tank so people can't even see the full size which is where the "tank is to small" thing might come from. Anyway this vid was taken 3 years ago, people need to chill it's still awesome!!

  • Please stop criticizing people on you tube because 1st of SOME people might have things to say to make u mad and others might just be ignorant and it don't mean you need to put them down. Be the bigger person and ignore them, like me. NOTICE that i'm not making fun of you or your videos. Have a nice day God Bless you.

  • @dawnsjulie Hey! I only ever critisise those who deserve it and unfortunately ignorant comments fall within the category of: worthy of deserving it...if you're not sure of something it's best not to comment at all. Nuff said.

Here's hoping you have a nice day as well...FRIENDS?

  • that is a way to small tank for that big oscar.

  • @dawnsjulie Yeah! Yeah! Heard it all before...but not very often, because most people know what they're talking about. The tank is perfectly adequate for just one Oscar, he's an extremely healthy and happy fish living in an extremley clean environment. Check out my other vid: Fabulous Tiger Oscar, to see just how good he looks, which he wouldn't if his tank was way too small. BTW... I expect your jeans are way too small for your big ass.

  • @s4dana4

how big is the tank i had a tiger for 12 years in a 29 gallon just great health and behavior

  • @radicalphantom1 Hi, the tank is a Juwel Rio 240 (240 UK litres), which is approx 62 US gallons, with internal and externel filters.

  • He's cool :-)

  • do you have any videos of your green terror, Is he in a tank by him self? The one i got is very small now but hoping not to have problems later on. Because he will come out the tank i love my oscar to much to let him get hurt lol. You can see my oscar i have couple videos of him He is black mostly My other tiger died not sure what happened

  • your oscar is one of the best i have seen, he looks so healthy and great color. I have a 5 inch and he just got a new tank mate a green terror we see how they get along

  • @cavalier6908 Thanks for the great comment about my Oscar. I've also got a Green Terror in my other tank....certainly lives up to his name, his colours are the most beautiful with the tank lights out when the sunlight hits him.

  • mine does that when it's meal time and they see me around the tank whit their food...

  • LOVE the Colors man just stunning....

    Great looking oscar

  • @killdyabrohaha Love the comment man just stunning....Thank you friend

  • @s4dana4 i got nothin just stunning

  • @TexasKing100 That'll just have to do then mate...Thank you

  • Its beautiful. I wish I could handle having a carnivorous fish, but I would love the feeder fish too much. I'll just stick with my goldfish. lol.

  • @darlindearest318 Thank you! And I never put feeder fish into my O's tank. It's the easiest way to introduce disease or parasites into the environment. Injury can also be caused by the Oscar chasing the smaller more agile fish around the tank. I only ever feed my O quality pellet food (Hikari) supplemented with frozen cubed foods. Check out my other vid Fabulous Tiger Oscar and look at his great colours, because he's so healthy.

  • Try putting a mirror in front of him/her.

  • ITS OVER 9000!

  • Hes beggin for food i had 4 tiger oscars in a 200 gallon tank bout 8-9 years ago they used to go mad when anyone walked by. thier very interactive i used to hold thier food bout 4-5 inches from the water theyd jump grab it i miss em a lot but good job !

  • wow lol s4dana has both top rated comments ;)

  • he must have watched finding nemo, the part where their in the bags and push them selves out of the dentist office.

  • Beautiful Fish

  • He reminds me of my oscar. <3

  • your fish is retarded

  • jus his fishy treadmill

  • looks like he might need more space to roam around

  • Can he close his mouth?

  • @taylorknow1 Of course he can.

  • Ive never seen an Oscar that big so active Lol.

  • hey great fish, amazing colours!

  • AMAZING COLOR!!!!

  • that Oscar has a beautiful color scheme on it!

  • HEY DONT CALL YOUR FISH PSYCHO!!

  • awww he just doesnt want to be alone...

  • His Face is like =O

  • i think he is hunngry as mess and just trying to eat you. aha

  • As far as him trying to fight his reflection... that"s what cichlids do rofl it is not a reflection of environment unless your environment is inadequate which this one is not... nuff' said

  • Hey brodda he's a noice fish, he looks good, and I think his housing is more then good enough. Some fools alway's have to have a shit over anything, I can understand berating a truly insufficient set-up but that is not you and not here friend. I think hes beautiful and so is his tank :)

    Up the irons

    sasqwuatch

  • @sasqwuatch Mate, thanks for the comment, it's appreciated. Your final comment makes me think your a Maiden fan? Just been to see em at the O2 arena in London - awesome gig.

    Thanks again friend

    Up the irons

  • He looks a little bloated.

  • He Thinks ... u go Sleep and let him alone ... my oscar fishes do it too..... They want that u are meet him :)

  • That's an uglyass oscar

  • hes like "BITCH I SAID I DONT WANNA GO TO SLEEP!!" >_<

  • does he changes color?? crazy looking fish, where did u get him?

  • Hey, awesome fish. lol hes doin this cuz he sees his reflection. Oscars are very territorial.

Oh, and dont listen to these assholes saying your tank is too small. As long as he can turn on both ends of the tank and he swims back and forth he is fine. If he sat in the corner or never moved thats when you should worry.

  • I think he's trying to tell u he wants bigger tank

  • @MannyFresh1x ya i think your correct.

  • Pretty fish :)

  • LOOKS LIKE DENNIS RODMAN

  • Probably coping your Mom having sex with different men.

  • @SingJiya I expect your mum's been banged more than the shit house door when the plagues in town...or been cocked more times than a second hand rifle.

  • @s4dana4 Probably he/she sees it's reflection and 'attacks'.awesome fish my friend !

  • @UnIngerPierdut Thanx for the great comment. 100% it's an aggressive territorial display, which is definately brought on by him seeing his reflection, and thinking he's got competition for his tank space when all external lighting is turned off in the evening.

  • atleast you didnt spell psycho wrong......

  • I bet he sees your shadow man

  • What did you feed him to make him colorful like that? Or is that just the breed he is?

  • i wish i had a big enough tank to get an oscar cuz i have no money(to young to work not lazy)

  • Could he be seeing his own reflection once you turn the lights off? Not sure why he's doing that otherwise..

  • hes probably going psyco because you have him in that tiny ass tank you jerk off

  • @MrGotemcoach Your stupid comment is about as welcome as a foreskin on a jewish nudist beach. Actually, the tank is a Juwel Rio 240(240 uk litres) which equates to approx 62 us gallons, which as you can see by how good my Oscar looks, is more than adequate for 1 Oscar. Check out my other vid Fabulous Tiger Oscar for more evidence of how healthy he is.

  • @s4dana4 Actually, 62 gallons for an Oscar, once full grown, is about bare minimum. Most places say ATLEAST 55 gallons, but they aren't very content in anything less than 75 gallons most people have found, I wouldn't get an oscar if my tank was any smaller than 100 gallons.

  • @Rykershot101 Check out my other vid "Fabulous Tiger Oscar" and you'll see how content he looks. It's not just about tank size, it's about care, maintenance and diet. You could have a 100 gallon tank and not bother with regular water changes, filter maintenance and a healthy diet and you'd have the most knackered O's out there. The proofs in the pudding and my Oscar is a michelin starred desert...Thank you and goodnight!!

  • @s4dana4 Well, really, it is about tank space. High maintenance keeps the water conditioned properly, but fish aren't naturally contained into a specific area like aquariums do, and the smaller the tank, the less appier and more stressed they are. You're right, they'll do fine in that tank, I'm not arguing that like the original guy said, that's a radical assumption. But they do like larger tanks.

  • @s4dana4 i got a 235 (1100 liters)gallon tank and i still think its just big enough for a 40centimeters oscar. A rio240 is way to small to let the fish turn normally , and how the oscar looks doesnt matter at all , the behaviour does . Now be smart and trade your smaller one for a bigger one :P

  • @AweSomo84 Mate, nobody likes a show off or an idiot. You're one of these people where, if some one says they've got a black cat, you'll say you've got a panther...and as for thinking a 235 gallon tank is just big enough for one Oscar, just goes to show how much, or how little you know about keeping O's. His behaviour is always calm apart from this one episode, which is easily explained and his condition is fantastic. It would be great to have a bigger tank, but he's fine in this one for now.

  • @s4dana4 hey man i'm not trying to show off , he's indeed able to live in a tank like that . First i had a rio240 woith 3 oscars but i sold them because i thought they would be to big soon . If a oscar gets 40 cm he cant turn any more. So when i moved i bought a second hands aquarium and builded it from scrats.

I'm just tellin rio240 is 40cm wide ,. and i like fish to swim . So dont go attack me personal i'm just trying to be nice.

    Take care

  • @AweSomo84 Look mate, I'm sorry if you thought I was having a go, I'm just fed up with all these people saying the tank is too small and you bore the brunt of it, also your comment says you had three O's in your 240, which yes is way over stocked, whereas I have only one in my tank. Look at the end of the day, very few home tanks are really big enough for these great fish, but we do the best we can. I believe I try to give my fish the best conditions possible for a good existance - me being nice

  • @s4dana4 All good take care

  • @s4dana4 Very healthy oscar.

  • @s4dana4 Holy crap. I'm now using the Jewish nudist beach thing in every argument.

  • @arlecchinasaurus Ha Ha!! Nice one. You have that one on me mate. I've got some other good ones, which I'll save for anyone else with negative comments about my set up or fish.

  • @MrGotemcoach You can't even say that Oscar looks bad, get some background on them before you talk shit. If he was stressed he would lose the strips on his color, and the owner obviously doesn't feed him too many live things, prob a blend of Hikari and/or veggies.

    :x Illiterate people.

  • @MrGotemcoach typical dumbass fat ignorant american that tank fine you dickcheese dont you no anything about keeping tropical fish

  • im glad that thing cant fly

  • Truly Beautiful! SO what happened? You switched off the room light, external to the tank and he flipped out?

    Thats over sensitive fish!

  • i have a 150 imperial gallon tank I have one baby tiger Oscar now but i only change the water every 5 weeks 20 percent it is a massive tank so when the Oscar is fully grown do I have to change the water 70 percent every 5 days or is that gust for smaller tanks

  • @iownbeotch That would be one helluva commitment every 5 days. Just one Oscar in a tank that size is going to result in a very small bio load. With good filtration I'd be looking at approx 25% water changes weekly.

  • he's scared of the dark

  • Lol, it's so weird that the lights going off outside the tank freak him out! He's a beauty, thanks for posting.

  • that is a nice lookin oscar its colors really show mine has barely any stripes at all

  • @drock1436 Thx your comment is appreciated. If your Oscar is a juvenile, you'll be amazed at how his colours and patterns will change as he matures.

  • @s4dana4 Okay the fish isn't in to small of a fish tank I have a 120 gallon tank and hes just fine what wrong is that he sees his reflection trust me mine does this every now and then ur lighting could have an effect on the reflection thing

  • @CarboXTyPhooN thats why they attack the reflectors on my tl lights

  • oh kew kewl i have ameduim sized tiger oscar and a medium sized red oscar i cant waite till mineget this big

  • how do i make my osca grow faster? is it food and water quality? or is it space? hes in hikari gold and meal worms atm

and 70% water change every 5days

  • @bkermike All of the above. If your meeting all of those conditions, your Oscar will grow nicely. Just be patient and he'll thrive. Good Luck.

  • @s4dana4 just be careful with the water changes because u may be resenting all ur tank cycles all the time but if it works for u great and gl

  • you spelled psycho wrong. you stupid penis

  • @freakozola21 It was a deliberate mistake to see who would spot it and be awarded the "Knobby Know It All Of The Decade" award......and the winner is - you, freakozola21. LOL!!

  • @s4dana4 i am truly honored

  • @freakozola21 pwned

  • Put wallpapers in the aquarium.. The Oscar sees its own reflection in the water and thinks that it's another fish. So it tries to protect it's territory. Oscars are amazing but require a lot of hard work and maintenance.

  • what kind of oscar is that?

  • @sloppyhih8a1234 Tiger Oscar

  • UR HOUSE IS TOTALLY HAUNTED

  • My Oscar does the same thing. Any advice?

  • @beetis73 My Oscar does the same thing. When lights outside the fish tank is turned off and the lights in the fish tank is turned on, this makes the glass all around the tank become like mirrors. What you see here is a mature Oscar showing power at an adult age against another male intruder. What the Oscar doesn't know is that intruder is actually himself in a reflection.

  • Hes DROWNING! hahaha lol

  • maybe it can see its own reflection in the glass when the lights are off?

  • Hey guys I got a baby tiger oscar and I currently have him in a 20gal with a plecos. And I wanted to upgrade to a bigger tank so I wanted some advice on what size tank I should get and do u guys think my oscar will eat my plecos?? Thanks
