Fill the sink with water after you put the ice in. The water level should come above the level of the stock in the pot. This will cool it down significantly faster!
@HoopsTraining I never use wine and mine always turns out just fine...I'm not sure if it does much to the nutritional value, but it's a lot easier since I'm not a wine drinker! :)
Will white wine vinegar work in place of regular wine? And, when I roast my local farm raised chicken, I add olive oil, spice and water at the bottom of the pan. Then when its done roasting, I use the drippings as soup stock. Is this still healthy? I dont roast any higher than 350 degrees.
