Did this and got tired of it after 10 minutes and stopped. Never had any problems with money in this game. I have more than i know what to do with.

My plan;

Sell all my shit (I'm only level 12, with crap gear)

Get 345 of these books (Stamina whore)

345 x 50 = 17,250

Books sell for approx 20 each at general stores,

so 345 x 20 = 6,900

6,900 gold per trip, thanks NotCasuals ;D

1. Build few iron daggers at blacksmith

2. Enchant them with petty soul and Banish

3. Sell them to blacksmith or general goods merchants

4. Forget about the book farming forever - books are 20-25 gold per carry point at best, and dagger can cost up to 1400 with maxed out enchantment skill, 250+ gold per carry point at least

This is a better way to get infinte gold: First u have to have the perk where loot more gold in chests then, go to dawn star make sure the cat people are there go to the secret chest and there should be 1000 gold there, take it then go to the cat lady that sells things, save I front of her, attack her, then load the game u just saved. Go to the chest and the gold she be there again! Enjoy! :D

OR, you can use the amulet from Windhelm, by selling it to it's true owner in the quest 'Blood on the Ice', and then pickpocketing it and re-selling it to him. 500 S per loop of this.

@seraphwing11 It's due to your speech level. I think that normally vendors buy items off you for a third of the price and sell for double.

(Dividing 50 by 3 would be 16.6 continuous so Skyrim rounds it up to 17 septims.)

The higher your speech the more money they spend and less money they charge.

Sometimes the skeleton disappears, but it's still there. Happened to me, was gone but still let me search it. Also you can take every book, he always gets another when you search him.

If you leave a book on the skeleton it shouldn't leave :D it either stays dead or revives its self and you have to kill it again. at least that's what it did for me, using ps3.

If ur as badass as the Comentator ok But if ur a beginner i dont suggest u go there after some times a frost troll shows up wich is very hard to get away if ur sneak is low anyway u can beat him with fire then after u pick some books theres gonna be this guy who comes up the hill and says- "Finally someone decent to fight with". If u have low armor skill and One/two handed skill u wont be able to beat him. Careful.

@fireking38 Not sure honestly, It might be only for swords, since daggers are probably for stealth assassin kills which already get a ton of bonus in stealth, maybe Im wrong though.

Good to show the glitch, although it does pretty much require a horse to generate useful amounts of money. It would work decently for someone who didn't want to gain levels exploiting yet another set of hilariously broken Elder Scrolls tradeskills.
