I have a brother industrial sewing machine and i was wondering if the singer buttonholer attachments worked. it is a pretty standard industrial machine. i believe it is called brother excedra DB. I have used the regular foots they have for juki and other singer machine, but i'm not sure which singer machine. any help is much appreciated thanks again for your wonderful video.
Hi, Thank You for all this info. I have a SInger 401 and I am just wondering when you get the SInger button holer
that you show in the video, do you get the feed dog cover plate with it. Or can you just drop the feed dogs on the 401 to use it. Thanks I appreciate your video
Sure know a lot about this for a male. Great stuff, I just got into the vintage sewing machine stuff. Mum has a singer 66 treadle & greist buttonholer that got me inspired so I bought me it's little sister, the 99k (Electric).

I don't know, can you drop the feed dogs on the 401?
On my 500a the needle plate actually lifts up instead of the feed dogs dropping. An unusual system that I really don't like much.
