My Mp3's? For the most part I get them from Beatport, Itunes and Amazon. I pretty much stopped buying vinyl a few years ago.

NICE SET BRO. I totally feel yeah with the mixing it without headphones. It's not like ur not still beat matching you still got to know when to drop it. Good stuff man keep it up. By the way it's not like serato has a SYNC button on it. technics and pioneer mixer u know what ur doing. by thw way i got the same set up with with a rane mixer.

I'm more comfortable with mixing by ear. I notice that when I mix by visually the beats don't line up as clean, but this was a quickmix of sorts and used the screen as a crutch...

I mapped it out pretty conventionally with the the top knobs for effects, the bottom buttons for cue points and the middle knobs for selecting tracks but you can switch it up easily if you want. Check out Serato tutor for a decent how to/ review

I beat match with the technics. Serato doesn't have a sync function. I just use the kontrolX1 for selecting tracks, que points and effects.
