Do you play the rearmost position on your Esquire here? (Esquire player, too)
Johi2410 3 years ago
Man, it's too old, I can't remember - but according that I'm playing on the rather dark Epiphone Valve junior, I bet you're right.
Ok, thanks!
@Johi2410 yes....he does it from the rear i fear .

Hello,
could you tell me more about the ESQUIRE, is it MEXICAN? how versatile is it?
chao.
richon2001 3 years ago
Yes, made in Mexico. Not extremely versatile but still a great twang/country/blues/rock machine.
how about the finish, parts and pickup... does it need to have upgrades??
None.
awesome playing man - i'd like to know what you're playing though. just random stuff on scales? or something in particular?
Dakkaeo 3 years ago
Thx - it's random stuff.
what difference does the jj valve make over a sovtek and would replacing both tubes with a well known brand like groove tubes make a differnce.
crazyboycarlos 3 years ago
The JJ is warmer and more precise. Groove tubes is not a tube "brand" - they buy tubes (could be JJ, Sovtek or chinese tubes) and rebadge them! They say they select them too ... and make you pay two or three times the price.
is the amp always clean with o0nly 1 knob?
TheVictimsX 3 years ago
No - of course it depends of the guitar, with a Telecaster/Esquire it's clean 'till 12-13 o'clock on the volume.
sounds kwll

is the amp all stock?
zannpaci 4 years ago
All stock, except a JJ EL84 instead of the Sovtek stock one.
realdocloco 4 years ago
awesome tone bro. would you happen to have a clip with the amp dimed a little higher?
blackheart or epi, seriously which has a better zep tone because, as we all know PAGE IS GOD OF ROCK

26004 4 years ago
The stock pickguard was white, I replaced it with a black bakelite one.

Yes it is - or should I say it was, since I replaced the white plastic pickguard with a black bakelite one ;-)
Anyway, amazing guitar for the price!
Nice Esquire. I have one too. Is yours a Mexican 50's esquire with Vintage White Body and White Pick Guard?
